Is the Vampiric Grip spell anything like telekinesis (I don't have Dawnguard)? If so, it would stand to reason that it would be in line with the Alteration school.

This is awesome - have a like. Hate to get greedy, but I don't suppose that anyone's discovered a way to seamlessly switch this spell on and off?

I messed around with it on a character that got awfully boring around level 15 - if you're using two-handed weapons, whenever you unequip those you'll automatically switch back to whatever 1h/1h combo you last used (so Vampiric Grip/Spell or Vampiric Grip/weapon). My guy was using the Ebony Blade with Grip and Vampiric Drain (the Lord version).

So, as long as you don't supplant the spell with another one, you don't have to go through the chore of reverting back and forth from Vampire Lord form?

Does anyone know if you have to repeat this glitch every time you re-equip the spell? I'm actually working on a Molag Bal themed build that this would be a great addition to, but it would involve a lot of spell switching. I'm thinking of Aspect of Terror Flame Cloak + Vampiric Grip :P

Just make sure you're only putting stuff in your right hand/using two-handed weapons. That's how I managed to get around it, otherwise you have to re-equip it using the console of redo the glitch.

Funny, Curse Never Dying and I had a similar idea, but it's kinda been put on hold for now. This Vampiric Grip glitch is just so awesome I'm suprised it hasn't been used yet in a build.
