My main character relies heavily on this exploit. So I thought best to share it before writing up his build.
The Overview
We all are aware of the Fortify Enchanting Potions > Fortify Alchemy Gear loop that can leave us with eventually very powerful gear. Instead of making Fortify Enchanting potions, the Fortify Restoration potions increase the power of enchants you equip. This to me is an easier to use trick that is more universal and, by not requiring Enchanting, easier to use and requires less perks.
The Exploit
The trick is that the Fortify Restoration potion, although only last 60 seconds, will provide an increase to all fortify enchants that are equipped during those 60 seconds. That increase will last until the equipment is removed, not just for the 60 seconds. Here is the two possible exploits.
The Numbers
Using the Alchemy Lab I have provides 3 examples. A beginner, a Mid-level but easy to reach and an End game.
Alchemy lvl 30 Alchemist (1/5) Psysician
Restoration spells are 22% stronger for 60 seconds.
Alchemy lvl 50 Alchemist (3/5) Psysician, Benefactor, Krosis Mask (+20%)
Restoration spells are 48% stronger for 60 seconds.
Alchemy lvl 100 Alchemist (5/5) Psysician, Benefactor, Alchemy Eqipment (100%)
Restoration spells are 120% stronger for 60 seconds
So with your hands on some enchanted gear, completing the Mages College will gather at least Morokei (100% faster magicka regeneration) Sarthal Amulet (all spells cost 3% less) and the Archmage’s Robes (+50 magicka 100% faster regeneration and all spells cost 15% less) This totals +50 magicka 200% Faster magicka regeration and 18% cheaper on every spells, thats rather nifty already but with the following 3 potions:
Low:
+61 Magicka, 244% Regen, 21% cheaper spell cost
Med:
+74 Magicka, 296% Regen, 26% cheaper spell cost
High:
+110 Magicka, 440% Regen, 39% cheaper spell cost
So without any extra enchantments coming from gloves boots or rings you end up with some very nifty stat bonuses.

I knew that fortifying restoration affects the equippen enchantments but I didn't know that it lasts until the armor is unequipped. I must try it.

Thanks for that, I have plenty of ingredients for the restoration potion so after school I will try it out. Also everything I have read says that the yellow mountain flower makes the potion better than normal.

It does. +25% boost to the potion's magnitude.
Also, in my experience, you'll need at least a moderate Alchemy skill (say, around level 50 and a few perks) to actually get this to work. So if you run into any snags, give that a shot. It's been a long time since I tried this though, so perhaps it'll work fine from the beginning.

I'm kinda hazy on it still since i only recently installed the unfix for it. Does it work for standing stones to? how about alteration spells, shout effects, etc. Only now beginning to explo(it)re it.

U can always unequip then equip an amulet of talos for 0% shout cooldown time .Just have to make a potion that improoves the stats by 500% . One of my chars uses this method.
