    AMOST ~ January 2016

    (Yes, we're still calling it AMOST. Not AMOSS. Deal with it.)

     

     

     

     ~ When does it start? ~

    The event will begin January 1, 2016 at 12:00 am (Eastern Time)

    ~ What can I write? ~

    A short story up to 25,000 words in length, 400 minimum, set in either The Elder Scrolls or Fallout universe. (Stories can be posted as multiple blogs, if desired; one post per day rule still applies.)

     

    ~ What do I get for participating? ~

    Your story listed in the AMOST 3 archive and the joy of knowing you participated (adoration and praise may vary).

     

    ~ Can I start planning my story now? ~

    Go for it!

    ~ What do I do to submit the story? ~

    Just add the tag "amost3" to your list of tags and it will be added to the archive. 

    ~ Can I submit my story after the month is over? ~

    Absolutely, but you can't add the amost3 tag. You can only add it onto entries that continue a story you started posting during the month of January, and only until February 7th.

    Here's to another fun month of fan writing! Get your ideas ready - 2016 is fast approaching. :)

    So just to clarify Okan, the story has to be started in January but not necessarily finished in January?

    Been waiting for this one. 

    Already have an idea what I'm going to write, and just seeing this announcement made me really excited to write this short story that I have in mind.

    That's awesome. I only got one in me for this event. The semester will be starting and that's a bit of a nightmare for professors.

    Music and music history.  

    Don't fret though, you all know me. Is my short story really gonna be all that short?  One may be enough from this old college professor.

    The idea is to try and finish it during the month, but it'll be fine if you don't. I may have to amend the rules, though. Don't want someone adding the amost3 tag when they finally decide to finish their story in 2020...

    I had a request from FishDout a few days ago for a second Volume of Vianto Diaries. Maybe I'll do that for AMOST...
