As a lot of people might know, I've been running a Weekly Poll for the last month or so, that aims at featuring some Legendary Builds as well as a Weekly Build Roundup to show off newly posted builds. Now the reaction to both has been insanely positive, with the Weekly Polls jumping up to 23 votes last week, which is absolutely awesome. So I wanted to implement a new feature that steps away from these smaller, less focused features and instead is a weekly feature that focuses on a single build in greater detail. 

For those that don't know exactly what the Hidden Gem Spotlight is, the idea is pretty simple. Each week, a writer focuses on a single build and writes a medium length feature on that build (generally around 250/500 words), usually the idea has been to focus on a build that might not have gotten as much attention as others. It used to mean that no Legendary or Bloodworks builds were featured since a lot of people would come for the former and see the latter fairly easily, but these days Ranks aren't really as large a concern, so it'd be more based on featuring whatever the writer wants. 

Now, I'd like to put out the call for anyone who'd like to write these features. There are... let's say 3 spots available but if this is something a lot of people are interested in I'll open up a fourth slot. If you are interested, I'd like to see an example of a Spotlight that you'd write, you can either send it in via PM or just post it in the discussion below, but either way it's just a good way to get a judge of what your style would be (and offer any quick pointers if I see anything). 

Not sure I can commit to a spotlight every week, but I approve of and like this idea so want to support it. Count me in.

So your down to write as long as we can get someone else to fill another spot (or just doing it once a fortnight). Would be pretty awesome if you did end up writing them, so thanks for the offer (if that's what it is and I didn't misread...I do that far too often :P) :D

Once a fortnight sounds good, nice suggestion! I'll aim to do one next week, then, so that gives me a bit more time - this week is closing on me fast.

Sounds great :D Leaves me plenty of time to see about getting someone else on board (maybe 2 more people...), would rather do it Weekly but it can get tough to write features every week for one person.

Just thought I'd mention that I am still very much on board if anyone wants to write some HGS, especially going forward into July where we'll have Weekly Polls and Flash Events coming back :D

Here's a Quick Example...I'll try and find one with images, but usually it's something around that length, with that sort of information with a nice banner or piece of artwork from the build with 'Hidden Gem Spotlight' thrown on it.
