The Moon Bishop (not technically a scout based on tags or anything, bust still a great build that I think works here.)
The Spirit of the Hunt (haven't played this one, or read it in awhile but Nosnakes has great builds).

Hello all! Because I can never seem to finish a character all the way through to the end, I am going to ask for thoughts before embarking on my first official build project for the site. I have an idea of creating a character that will only be allowed to perk ONE skill tree from each of the three groups - 1 warrior, 1 mage, and 1 thief. Has anyone ever attempted this type of build or has there ever been a contest of this type? I have searched throughout the site but never came across anything like it. If anyone has tried to travel this path before, any obstacles that might arise would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks much!

Hey ErnieDjinn,
So I can't quite think of the build, pretty sure the Knights of Iron (I would link but the pages load impossibly slow on my ipad), where it perked only the 3 crafting skills plus maybe one other? That would technically be the "3 paths and only 1 school" idea. Although I will always think of alchemy as a magic based skill...
Anyway, that sounds like a really cool idea and something you should definitely explore. Off the top of my head though, I would first think it would be a restricting idea but one that is definitely rewarding! A shield toting, conjuring thief would be pretty wacky just picking 3 random ones!
Let me know if you wanna bounce ideas around.
EDIT: I was right! All crafting skills plus speech. Pretty wicked build: https://tamrielvault.com/groups/topic/view/group_id/3/topic_id/4211

Thanks for the input Henson. It does seem extemely restrictive, and purposefully so. I tend to start a character and then stray (sometimes wildly) from the originally charted course. My first incliniation was a mounted archer Bard (thief - obviously archery) that banishes undead from all barrows and such when not on horseback (mage - restoration) that can craft his own weapons and clothing/armor (warrior - smithing) him/herself. Not sure if that will be my final go at it, but will be developing this line out over the next few days to see.

This one caught my eye when I was browsing a few weeks ago . And maybe others in the acrobat section?

Hi all, I vaguely remember a build that relied heavily on staves as primary damage, and may also have used a variety of shields, the author may have been Olaf... any ideas?
Also, I'd love suggestions for any builds that can cover a majority or combo of the following: roleplay, morally grey, sneaking can be included but not a main factor, ability to to fit into multiple guilds, inclusion of crafting (not a requirement). Even better if a beast race is a requirement as I have never successfully managed to play any extended period as an argonian/khajiit.
Thanks in advance!
