That is an interesting concept. I don't think this build relies on illusion though. Calm spells can be used to retreat, regroup or to avoid confrontation. Your concept forces the foe to cry mercy as with fear spells, forcing them to flee. RP-wise I think it would be much more appropriate  to see they give in to those actions out of their own free will without illusion "forcing" them to comply. Enemy behavior in all games like this always intrigue me. I've used this technique before in several occasions but personally, I'm not that much for RP-ing.

My Purge Pack is in a personal mod I'm making. It improves several attributes in a balanced but fair level based on level of difficulty the player plays in. Finally almost a year of working on it, It is almost complete ( 90% or so ) I'll send you some screenshots of the spells if you want. That's of course, once I get a little better at taking and uploading them.

As for the fights against dragons, that's a good tactic I've got to try sometimes. Right now though, I'm not really much of a summoner. By the time my character gets into an encounter and I remember to summon a thrall or atronach, its all over. In the next playthrough though, I'll be sure to try this. My favorite tactic that I've been doing against them is hitting them over and over again with Thunderbolt while having a ward ( another underrated spell in higher difficulties and levels ) active while just outside there range for their bite attack. It gets them so mad and its so hilarious!!

Thanks for your time and response Motty and best of luck with future builds!

I feel like calm in this instance is more like an extension of speech...like you just kicked his butt, he asked for mercy and you gave it to him and he starts to attack you again...like "whoa buddy, calm down...btw did you see me absorb the soul out of that dragon? Yeah, you might want to chill out."   lol

So wow a mod! That's cool. I run on playstation, so no mods for me. But best of luck finishing it up. Sounds great.

i think this is a good build.. but I have a comment do u think auriel' s bow would be used since its a undead smite bow but then I read it again and saw u don't perk smithing to get arcane armour and u don't perk marksmanship so I guess it would stay at base damage and the arrows would just collect dust....oh and +1 from me

    Hey thanks!

I didn't use the bow much at all...I was avoiding the temptation of being a sneak archer in favor of some up close and personal damage and ranged sun spells. That being said, I did carry a bow...and used it occasionally to manipulate npc movement - like shooting an arrow to get them to move to certain, more favorable place. I did also use it on occasion to initiate some damage against a stronger ranged opponent...since you're still getting 3x damage from the sneak perk "deadly aim." Because the goal here was more of a focus on the sun damage spells...which don't work against non undead, I found an occasional arrow handy.

That being said you could totally ditch the bow.

    Thanks again.

You know, I don't think I've heard the term Holy Ghost in awhile, mosty, including myself, its primarily the Holy Spirit

Me too but my concept for the character was of a ghostblade of sorts. It just fit better I thought.
