The Wolf Assassin this is an idea for a assassin build that wears heavy armour but still has the stealth abilities of a light armoured assassin. He relies on his bow and poisons above most the poisons is where most of your kick will come from in combat. I picked a Breton and made it as far away as magic as I could to add some diversity from other Breton classes where they're mostly heavily magic based.

    The Wolf Assassin

The fun part about this build is you wear heavy armor but you feel like you're just wearing light armor with your sneak ability. This class is a werewolf but rarely uses beast form and will only use it when he has to defeat a load of high level enemies dispatching them quickly and easily not taking as much as he would in human form. This approach gives the character a sense of not really relying on anything but your bow and as it is your main defense and offence.

    The Build

    Race: Breton

Stone: The Lord - Armour rating +50 pts, resist 25% of magic

Dragon Shouts: Animal allegiance, Bend will, Dismay, Kyne's peace, Slow time, Unrelenting force

Major Skills: Sneak,Archery,Alchemy, Heavy armor, Lycanthropy

    Minor Skills:  Lock-picking,Pickpocket,One handed, Smithing

Equipment: Mage hood and wolf armor [Companion Armour]

Weapons: Ebony Sword, Ebony bow and poisons

    Skills and Perks

Archery: The main weapon of the Wolf Assassin is his bow he trust nothing like his bow, when you want to kill someone without getting up close just grab your bow poison it and do your damage, do this until the enemy gets close grab your sword and finish them off. This is a very good tactic as it takes the enemy a bit of time to find you when using a bow giving you more time to kill them afar rather than up close.

One Handed: This is your backup if your bow isn't enough, just pull out your sword and decimate all opponents as messy as you would like. This is if you can't get a vantage for your bow just charge in and jab them with just the tip of your blade.

Sneak: This is so you can sneak around the battle field spotting which target you will attack next, it's also so you can get that extra damage for a sneak attack, this is also you can hide as your enemies run around clueless on your location.

Heavy armor: This is your saving grace your one try holy thing. This is what protects you from every nasty person that wants your skooma, This is what helps you take hits whilst taking on hordes of enemies at a time.

Alchemy: This is where your poisons come from, potions what are those you talk about this man only uses poisons he shouldn't need to use potions if he can dispatch his enemy with a powerful, deadly poison. But if you need to make sure to carry a few healing potions with you

Pickpocket: Stealthily placing poisons in enemies pockets is one trick up your sleeve, you will use pickpocket to place poisons or to take things that'll get a few coins in your pocket.

Lockpicking: Getting to your victims can be hard if they locked them self in a room well with a lock pick and the skill to pick it you can now kill that bandit and get your gold.

Smithing: This is so you can improve your weapons and armor so you can take more damage and deal more of it. You will need this so you can stay in combat for a quicker time taking less damage and dealing it more so you don'y have to run off and heal.

Lycanthropy: Well what did you think you need to be this or you can;t be a wolf assassin this is in the name, you should of known when you signed up. You will only use this when there's too many enemies or if you want to hunt animals for Hircine.

    Gameplay

The beauty of this build is that you feel like a stealthy quiet assassin whilst still being able to turn to a one handed tank charging through lines of enemies with the option of taking beast form and tearing out your enemies hearts.

Sneaking is a must it's like the bread of all assassin sandwiches, also alchemy this is just so you can do more damage than normal, this mix of heavy armor, sneak, archery and all of that is blended into a build that the nubbiest of noobs can use, actually probably more like a apprentice Skyrim player can use as it does take a lot to grasp.

Combining these combat approaches allows you to do as most damage as you can in the smallest amount of time this class is a true assassin warrior with the capabilities of taking on around 23 enemies at once without dying. If you're cornered and there's too many enemies to fight without dying you can use your lycanthropy and tear out your foes heart's.

Now for the role-playing well, join the companions to get the wolf armor and to become a werewolf. Join the dawn guard to get rid of the vampires and basically try to do good things but some bad things like you might join the dark brotherhood or the thieves guild it's up to you except the companions part you need to join or this build will just be useless.

    Backstory

Belani [The wolf assassin] was born to a noble in the city of Evermor, High rock. Belani couldn't naturally grasp magic, he couldn't even cast the easiest of spells but he was a natural with bows and alchemy. His father was very disappointed with his son as he wouldn't follow his path and was straying off to far for his comfort. His father was high in the Kings court, getting older Belani would sneak out and go hunting. One day Belani's mother fell ill with a mysterious disease, Belani did all he could to save her but he failed. Belani's father turned to mead, he left the court and spent most of his time at the local inn. One night Belani was fed up of waiting for his father to come back from the Inn, Belani went out in the mist of the full moon. After a few hours of hunting Belani was walking back to the city when he heard a howl then a deathly scream, he dropped his bag of meat and ran towards the scream he saw a man covered in blood cornered in a tree, a large werewolf in front of him, he grabbed his bow and dipped it in what was left of his poison, he fired an arrow directly at the werewolf hitting it in the back of the neck, as he werewolf fell to the floor Belani was beside it the man was passed out, before he could wake him up the wolf bit him on the leg turning him, he screamed then drove another arrow through the werewolf's eye. He quickly bandaged his wound then he looked back at the man , it was the king he grabbed him and rushed back into the city.

A few weeks after the King got better he asked Belani if he would like to be a knight, Belani accepted and started training with a sword and heavy armour. He was a born natural with a sword and Heavy armour fitted him best, he learned how to smith a sword and a helm from scratch. Belani had a secret though, when the werewolf bit him he contracted the curse of Hircine, he tried hiding it the best he could, sneaking into the city jail at night locking himself in a secret cell for the worst types of people. After a few years of training on his 27th birthday he became a personal guard for the new king. He remembers the child as the used to play when they were younger. Belani served this new king well and followed his orders to the letter he did this for a few blood soaked years, this life was good for him till one day he was hunting down a murderer, he had to hurry the full moon was nearly at it's apex he ran as fast as he could he killed the murderer but didn't have enough time to make it back to the city. He had no choice he started running into the deeper parts of the forrest but it was too late, he dropped to the floor and turned into the true beast he was, his beast form made it into the kings keep and slaughtered the young king and some guards.

He woke up the next morning covered in blood, he looked around and next to him was the remains of the king mixed with remains of guards and a young child, he laid there in a puddle of blood crying his eyes out to his hearts consent. As he lay there a small group of guards ran in, Belani jumped up and looked at them in fear, the rushed him and shoved a potion down his throat then another guard knocked him out, he woke up a bulging lump on his head, he was in the jail cell he used to turn. He waited for hours till a mysterious man slipped a key in the lock and opened it, he left seeing all guards slaughtered, he grabbed a sword and ran for his life escaping the city. Before the whole city would see the guards slaughtered and Belani escaped he was in Hammerfell near Dragonstar. He camped out see the city for a few weeks, even though when the full moon came he didn't turn, he realised that the potion they forced him laid his inner beast dormant. He packed up camp and started running again so he won't get caught and executed.

After months of running he made it to the border of skyrim and is captured and taken to helgen. From here it's your story just remember to join the companions to of course get the armour and beast form then you can heavily RP as this char, he does good deeds kills bandits, collects bounties and helps people at all costs. So thats about it from here it's your story I believe this char can be a good RP char as you can broaden your horizons how ever you feel like.

Hey, this build is solid, it just really needs to be spruced up. The intensity that you write with is beautiful, just there is some lacking here. Explain to the reader exactly how everything ties in. Lycanthropy kinda feels tacked on with the way you wrote it. Also, Daedric weapons are (not in every case) a RP killer and unnecessary extra dmg outside of the good ol' MOAR POWAAA playstyle. Another thing to note is that poisons are more sought for their utility not for dmg. Show the gentle reader the types of poisons you used. For example, a good paralytic dmg poison would be Imp Stool, Canis Root, and Mora Tapinella (or Slaughter fish Scales/Eggs). This gives you a a paralyze effect and lingering dmg to A) take a threat out of the playing field for a while and B) give great dmg in the meantime and an additional amount even after they get back up. Don't take the criticism as something to push you down, but as something to help lift you up man. I'm throwing you a grapple to help you climb, but it's up to you to use it.

I'm working on it at  the moment I'm probably going to go more in detail on the whole werewolf thing and I'm going to change the weapons as daedric is hard, also I'm working on a backstory for the character to give it a sense of livelihood and like you can really take on the character.

Lol, so much for not judging. But it is a valid point. Not trying to down you here, but try re-playing the character but this time with your new roleplay. I had to re-re-play a personal build 3 times before I was happy with just the roleplay let alone the game play. This gem will be posted eventually, but not yet XD.

Hey man, I think in High Rock they are called King and Queen and have royal courts. Books that show this is the Mystery of Talara book series and the Arcturian Heresy.
