This is my one and only class that I personally play in Skyrim

     Back Story

It is said that the Elemental Summoner is a rare breed of High Elf, that when born their mothers take the ultimate sacrifice as they do not come from the womb as flesh, but as a new Element to the world of Tamriel. So rare are these Elemental beings , that there is only three that are known to have existed thus far.

The first Born in Morrowind, named Lord Thalius Len'Ux XVII who was so powerful  he was put to death after crowning himself King of all Morrowind, having not only killed the King, but all the citizens who were opposed him being king. His madness seemed to keep him young, since the date of his alleged death, he was over 150 years old. It is truly not known when or if he is died, since he was buried alive after no Blade, or magical device the citizens used would kill him.

The Second Elemental Summoner was born in Cyrodiil during the Rein of Tiber Septem. Her name was Lamara Tal'Lun, and when she was born she was immediately taken to the Archmage in the Imperial City. The story Thalius Len'Ux XVII was well known across all of Tamriel, so when she was born it was imperative that she be sent to be trained by the Archmage to understand her powers. She grew to be a master of the 5 Magical arts, and loved to pick herbs for making poultices to help the locals who were wounded in battle. Her husband died while fending off the Daedra during the Oblivion crisis. It is said that she went into a rampage destroying the Oblivion Gates, and bringing peace back to Tamriel. When she was done, she went and laid next to her husbands casket, and fell into the arms of the Great Divine.

The Third Elemental Summoner is you. You can decide how to use your powers.

    The Elemental Summoner

The elemental summoner is not the kind of Magician you wish to deal with on even your best day. He is the master of five schools of magic, each complementing the other making for one of the hardest to kill casters in the game even on Master. Not only is he a powerful caster, he also never goes into a fight alone. On his right he has the Frost Thrall who is what I call his Tank pet, and to his left his Storm Thrall who I would call his DPS pet.

    Race

    High Elf (Altmer)

recommend you play as the Altmer not only do they start out with the most Magicka, but they are a proud race who call to their ancestors in their time of need allowing them to regenerate their Magicka at a faster rate.

50 Magicka + Highborn ( fast magicka regeneration)

Breton, and Darkelf would also be a great fit. Breton for their starting stats, and start with summoning spells. Dark Elf Have strong destruction skills, and power Ancestor's Wrath which covers them in fire, damaging those close to them.

    Magicka/Health/Stamina

Ratio 5/2/1. My final stats before standing stone buffs, armor, and ratial buffs, are 600/300/200

    Standing Stone

The Atronach Stone: for the extra magicka and Magicka Absorb. Though your Magicka regenerates 50% less, enchantment: Foritfy Magicka Regeneration can offset this negative effect.

    Major Skills

Conjuration: No one wants to fight alone do they? Elemental pets only of course. I use the Frost Thrall, and Storm Thrall

Destruction: This is our bread and butter. every spell is fair game in this skill, though I personally find "traps" out of character.

Illusion: Why have pets if you can't buff them. Call to Arms, courage, rally, and invisibility are your main           spells here.

Alteration: Hey if your pets have buffs, why not join them. Dragonhide, Mass Paralysis, Paralysis, Ebonyflesh, water breathing. The paralysis spells are an extension of ice spells, at least that's my reasoning for loving them.

Enchanting: Being the smart individual that you are, you must master all of the arcane arts. Only the best zero armor gear is enchanted ( Alteration Perk: Magic Armor 3/3). Must not forget about your daggers too.

Alchemy: Enchanting and Alchemy combine to make the best items in the game. Enchanting potions made with a full set of alchemy armor ( Head, ring, amulet, gloves) can make for some potent gear.

    Minor Skills

1-Handed Combat: I personally like to get in and stab things when my Atronach or Thrall's are mauling my enemy to death.

    Armor and Weapons

    Robe: Vaermina robe : Conjuration/Destrucation

Boots: Thalmor Boots : Muffle/Foritfy Carry weight

Gloves: Thalmor gloves : fortify magicka/foritfy one handed

Ring: Gold Diamond Ring : Foritfy Alteration/foritfy magicka regeneration

Neck: Gold Diamond Necklace: fortify Illusion/ fortify magicka

Head: Gold And Emerald Circlet: foritify magicka regen/ fortify health regen

Weapons: Glass Dagger:  Absorb Magicka/ Storm Damage

Glass Dagger:  Absorb Health/ Frost Damage

    Special Moves

Elemental Disaster: A raw and powerful elemental wake that surrounds in an elemental calamity.

Highborn( Must be High Elf) Fire Storm and Blizard plus Equilibrium

Elemental Master: This is a pre-battle setup spell.

Call to arms+Dragonhide, and Elemental Cloak of your choice depending on creature your fighting.

Elemental Healing: This is your after battle buffs, and heals. Now I know what your asking yourself. What heals? Well the only way I know to heal a caster is to replenish his Magicka.

    Dragonhide+Equilibrium

    Overview

With this class I have found that even giants don't want to mess with me, rather don't want to mess with my buffed up Thralls. This build allows me to own every spell in the game minus Guardian Circle and Bane of the Undead, which bodes well for my compulsiveness to own everything in the game. I hope that you liked my presentation. This is my first character build on here and thought it had to be done.

Isn't Enchanting a School of magic making him a master of five?

Edit: Try adding some Game/Role Play and what Gavin said and then your set.

Seems like a fun build! You might want to add a back story for your character, and also add race and standing stone recommendations. Might want to tone down the special moves.

    +1

Thanks for the reply Gavin, The race is listed in the first paragraph, and the standing stone is listed under the title Level 81 Perks, and Standing Stones. I moved these under their own headings now.I'll work on the back story tonight. I want to put some more thought behind it before I make it official. Also want to think about the special moves. Might tweak them a little..

NoBodyBeast your correct, I'll fix that when I add the back story and fix the special moves.

You do know the Atronauch Stone adds a chance your Conjuration Spells fail. Sure that wont be of problem with thralls. But there is a long rout till you get thralls, and I may be old fashion but I prefer Reliability

I didn't know there was an issue the Atronauch Stone and conjuration spells. I thought you either have enough mana to cast or you don't. It must be a bug? I don't think there is another stone I would use other then Mage until your capped in all spells types. I don't think the The Apprentice Stone is a good trade off.

  • October 18, 2012

Yes it's a bug, one you'd likely notice during your playthrough O_o

  • October 18, 2012

Aye, there's no way a person could not notice that their spell failing half of the time during a playthrough.  And if a person doesn't play their own build, how can they expect someone else to play it.

Even more than half the time if you use the perk. And illusion won't buff your atronachs until level 90.
