Hey, I haven't played Skyrim in a very long time, I have the remastered version on PS4 and I am looking for a stealthy build that can fight in open combat when caught. I want it to use magic and/or possibly archery as well as one-handed

Hi Jono. I can think of three builds off the top of my head that could fit this playstyle. The Creature of Lake Ilinalta a sneaky fish man brawler augmented with some lightning magic, The Blood Magus a blood mage (sneaky illusionist) who let there enemies kill themselves and then slits the throat of the victor a large health pool make this character surprisingly tanky in the mid to late game, and the Rito'Rishaj'iit kung-fu kitty with supernatural abilities. Hopefully among them you find something you like.

Heard of the game Shadow of Mordor? It's about a magical ranger, and my cohost Allspark made a build about it a while ago, the Wraith Ranger, should be right up your alley.

Alright, I am looking for an almost pure merc build. I'm open to any kind of combat tactics being used but it has to have a mercenary vibe to it and only be in it for the money. Maybe have an interesting backstory. Think of a star wars bounty hunter but in the skyrim world. Are there any builds that might match that description?

[/blockquote] Ooh - you have to check out Karver's Goldpact Knight.
The Goldpact Knight is a pretty hardline merc with multiple means of combat. Once he's taken a contract, he follows it through relentlessly. I always liked that roleplay element, particularly with it going as far as sacrificing Shouts.

Karver the Lorc said: As Mercurias and Motty said, Goldpact Knight is a good choice if you want to play a merc, more or less regular guy trying to make a living in Skyrim "before" Civil War and Dragon Crisis. But if you want to go down more brutal and merciless path, The Bleak Walker (could anyone drop a link to it? I'm on phone sadly) of mine is quite strong counterpart to Goldpact Knight. More...bleak. :)
Link. Dropped. Great build.
