Roleplaying idea: 'Lucky' Jimmy O'Donaghue

I've been working on an idea for a Fallout play through with a heavy roleplay character who is extremely lucky.

    Thoughts so far:

    • The idea of him being Irish is based on the fact that Boston has, by far, the largest Irish immigrant population in the USA. There's no reason to think that still wouldn't be the case in the future!
    • There's the long-held belief - based on basically no evidence lol - that Irish people are 'lucky', hence the phrase 'luck of the Irish'. So I will have very high luck and take perks such as Ricochet, Critical Banker, Better Criticals etc. Also Four Leaf Clover - again, perfect fit for an Irish character.
    • The stereotype of Irish (certainly here in England) is that Irish people are..well.. a bit thick. So Idiot Savant seems obvious (with Intelligence pegged at 1 for both RP and levelling)
    • Another stereotype is that Irish people like to drink copious amounts of booze - so I'm thinking plenty of collecting, hoarding, and - of course - drinking booze
    • High charisma to represent the 'Irish blarney' ... gift of the gab - especially with opposite gender
    • The obvious RP companion is Cait, and to follow the romance option due to the Irish 'connection'

The basic idea is to blunder around the Wasteland, surviving more by luck than anything else - drinking booze and charming women.

Any other ideas or suggestions welcome

    Oooh, I love it.

Would you take party boy? Or do you really want to get hammered?

Boosting the effects of alcohol, as highlighted by Henson's Shotgun Surgeon has led to one of the more fun and powerful playthroughs for me.

Plus the character says really funny things while under the effect.

Def hit up the Shamrock Taphouse and free buddy for some more RP fun.
