I started with few of my own again. What I really like on Alchemy in Oblivion is that you can create so much "spell" effects that you can have character with some cool potions that takes away the need of magic. And yet, I never fully delved into Alchemy before, just now with my Thief character and I can´t believe how could I not use it before?

Elixir of Riposte is really cool potion for every character that know he/she will get hit. Even pure thief who doesn´t have the opportunity to deal lots of damage on his own can count on this Potion to make his attacker suffer.

Iron Skin potion gives some cool survivalibity to characters like thieves or those without armor and magic like Acrobats.

Mageslayer poison is really nasty stuff. That thing can pretty much deal with anything, not just mages.

Thanks Chris. I'll edit that in.

Thanks for the link, Chris. I was considering adding it but what posponed my final decision is fact that some of the potions there are nonsense. I tested them and some can´t be made.

I'll put a warning in. When I get more time I might test them and just transfer over to this page the ones that work.

I just remember that I run into few which weren´t working. It is some time, so if they have updated, I do not know.

It would be amazing if you could test them. Transfering them here sounds like a good idea too.

Also note, that Alchemy in Oblivion is really dependant on your skill. Novice-Expert gives you more effects on ingredients. On novice you start with one effect and expert unlocks up to four effects. So most of the potions listed here or on UESP are skill dependant.

This might have been the reason some of those potions didn´t work for me long time ago. I feel so dumb right now...
