Oh there may be a ton of different sets of music that will activate the onion ninjas, but...here is by far one that gets me almost every time:
Second reply, but my taste in music is ever changing so I figured I'd share. I started the show Hannibal recently, and in it they feature a lot of great music. Firstly, a lot of Bach; specifically the Goldberg Variations. It's opened me up to a lot of great music, so the first piece is Aria, the first variation as played by Glenn Gould.
The second piece is one from the show's soundtrack, but the only way for it to really hit you and connect with you is if you've watched the show, because it plays at a very emotional scene in it (I cannot recommend enough that you ALL watch Hannibal). Regardless, it is still a masterpiece.
This band is one of my favorites. A 70s medieval prog funk rock band. Derek Schulman's voice can be so soothing and heavenly in some songs, and in others be so strong and electric. Truly some of the best music ever made.
