I try to attempt those quests with as much courage as possible. I tend to end up dead if I dont.

I don't have to say more, quests with screeching falmers, especially when accompanied by chaurus creeps, I hate the flying version. In groups they tend  to gang you up and rip you apart. The start of "Liar's retreat" on higher levels will put you up to a bunch of those, including warmongers and shadowmasters.

Play the dawnguard falmer ones with the brightness and music turned all the way down so you can hear all the little sounds the chaurus hunters make, and never see them coming.

Frostflow Lighthouse quest, Soul Cairn, House of Horrors (pretty scary for the first time), Forelhost

    Edit: Oh, and Halldir's Cairn

I don't know about any certain quest. But I find it scary to play with lights off, Brightness down, and sound up, Music off. and if on PC some lighting and sound mods. This makes caves and ruins very dark and scary. One of the Falmer caves who's name slips my mind right now. Has a huge room with some Giant Frostbite Spiders in it. Once the first one fell on my head I freaked out ran out of the cave and haven't been back since. Having Arachnophobia helps in that situation.

Liars Retreat isnt big enough for a giant spider.

I always found the cannibal quest unsettling.

I enjoy the Falmer quests, it's like I end up in a trap and I have to turn into the hunters they usually are.

    Quoting Skyrim Wiki, Jasper

"A single hostile Orc bandit is hiding from the falmer, barricaded in a sleeping area behind a locked door. There are also frostbite spiders, (one of which drops from a hole in the ceiling) and chaurus, (including a chaurus reaper), deeper inside the cave system."

I believe all the creatures are leveled, so they could be Giant too. I don't remember other places with both Falmer and dropping spiders

I second Liars Retreat as being one hell of a fight!

It's not that it's scary, it's just freaking hard!!!

It's like a write of passage for my characters...
