  I never said it was for knowledge's sake, just that you wanted to know. I'm fully aware you don't have to dislike someone to compete with them (though you don't have to dislike someone to attempt to outsmart them or make them foolish either).
  
  As to the second sentence, not really sure how to respond to that since I don't see it as a competition :P
