  I am curious to know...when was everyone's first RANDOM dragon fight?  This does not include the Western Watchtower, quest related dragon fights, and dragon mountain fights.  When was the first truly random dragon encounter?  What level were you? What went through your head?  Where was it?

  My first encounter was the first time I was travelling to Ivarstead to visit the Greybeards.  I futzed around Whiterun and the tundra for awhile till probably about level 12-15 and then decided to take the back route to Ivarstead past Helgen.  I came out of Haemar's Shame after a tough fight with Vampires and "queue the music".  It was snowing really hard and the only thing around to distract the dragon was a random horse.  I am pretty sure I got goosebumps from the epicness of the situation...

  So what was your first dragon encounter?
