Write a few words.
Read a few stories.
No one knows where the journey will take you and no one can guess who you will meet on the way.

The all-important lyrics:
Majestical cries, malevolent forcesThey'll echo their way through the skiesShe calls to me as my will diesThrough the unknownI cannot resist though this temptress will peel flesh from boneTo my demise I'm forced to riseThe sirens call my fateThrough veils I sense their hateThere's no turning backThis creature controlling the conscience and spirit I lackSuccumbing to the depths of blackSpun from the seaAlluring her whispersI cannot be made to break freeI offer my soul unto theeThe sirens call my fateThrough veils I sense their hateWretched the Queen, she sits upon her throneI'm forced to lie and wait for deathBound by her spellsI sense a hungry moanTrapped in this hell, my final breathThe Siren's CallBled out from the claws that ripI can't defendThis moaning serpent has her wayThe Siren's CallHeed on this talePrepare to resist the eroticThe sirens, they wailLike others before, all have fellThe legend growsHow to defeat the witch, this is what nobody knowsTerror forever she bestowsThe Siren's Call
I don't know if there's already a Siren build made but it's damn shame if there isn't. Nords are sailors! But you can't exactly create shipwrecks either, so it would definitely take some creative reworking. I'm thinking shouts are a must. MFD? Anything that controls too. I envision a lot of controlling shouts and magic. MFD, Disarm, Kyne's Peace, illusion magic of course. Necromancy would be below the Siren. She controls the living, a much greater task than controlling the dead.
I almost did this once! With one of my top all-time favorite songs:
If you're not blowing out your speakers, you're not listening correctly.
But about the build. Wikipedia says a blood eagle is,
"a ritualized method of execution, detailed in late skaldic poetry. According to the two instances mentioned in the Sagas, the victim (always a member of a royal family) was placed prone, the ribs severed from the vertebral column with a sharp implement and the lungs pulled through the opening to create a pair of “wings”. There is a continuing debate about whether the ritual was a literary invention, a mistranslation of the original texts or an actual historical practice."
Debated or not, that's so legitimately fucked up that it can't not be made into a build. It was to be a Forsworn build, or at least have the Forswon aesthetic. I do wish I could remember the skills. I only played it as far as level 5. I think I used sneak, but then ended up really not liking sneak. I'm capricious like that. It's why restartitis is just a fact of life now! But I do think it lends itself well to a build, even if I can't build it.
The Brotherhood was formed by US Military deserters about 3 days before the Great War, so, maybe it's forgivable. The Enclave is the one to watch out for. They're the shadow government of the US. On the other hand, the Brotherhood does operate similarly to the pre-war US military by taking what they want with overwhelming force. So if your character can compartmentalize doing to other societies what the pre-war US military did to Canada, then sure, they seem fine to join. But I'm guessing that might be difficult for him, not because of the Brotherhood's history, but because of the means they use to gain their ends. But perhaps such means are justifiable when rebuilding human civilization as opposed to desperate acts of survivial. I guess it depends how deep you want to go to justify it one way or another.
Gollum said: I listen to most of my music on youtube (people upload full albums of innumerable bands), but if I hear an album that really catches my ear, I go to Amazon and buy a physical CD of it. The last purchase from Amazon was two CDs from the Norwegian experimental band Arcturus (English lyrics). The two albums that I got are space themed metal. The reason I got the albums is because they are really unique and my favorite drummer is on both and all of Arcturus's releases.
This is pretty much what I do too. I tend to choose youtube over spotify because of the playlists without commercials, then buy the CD from Amazon or the record store if it's a big enough release. Sometimes I gotta buy off of bandcamp though because the band isn't yet funded enough to make CDs. That's cool though! I never got into Arcturus but, shit, metal's metal. I just checked out their wiki. It's good that their drummer has stayed through it all since you like him so much. I know the most jarring lineup changes in a band for me are always either the drummer, or god forbid, the vocalist.
I was content to leave this game alone, but after watching MATN play the demo, I'm definitely intrigued. I adore Bioshock and this looks close enough to be a spirtual successor. It all depends on the narrative and story, though. Everyone expects a twist at this point. If it espouses a heavy philisophical commentary, then I'll definitely play it. Though it'll be hard to tell if it does without encountering spoilers...hm. I'll keep myself on a Prey blackout until it's about $30.

I almost shot myself today. There I was, pleading in the dirt for the stolen life I had every right to take, but I couldn't do it. My own words, my own voice, my own silly preoccupation with breathing - I couldn't kill myself, even if it meant I wouldn't truly die. I wrenched myself up from my knees...
