Well, throuout the game you're helping Talos's descendant, it's a lot about Blades and then you get proof that Talos is Divine and Akatosh favours Men xD Well, Oblivion leaves very bad taste in your mouth in regards of Bosmer NPCs. You should ask Phil. He hates Bosmer because he played Oblivion :D

Ah, the infamous Adoring Fan. Glad they got rid of him 200 years later. And there's also that Bosmer from the Fighter's Guild.

In Skyrim you're also kinda supposed to feel sympathy for Talos worshippers. But I only grew to hate him. How that happened? At first I was all like "hmm, why these Thalmor are so against Talos?" Then I learned who Talos actually was and was all like "they are worshipping their dead emperor? Are they crazy?!" And then I learned about the whole Mantella deal, about Lorkhan, and all that made me dislike Talos even more.

Something tells me that if I learned all that stuff in Oblivion and there was no other possible worldview presented in the world except the Imperial one and the Mythic Dawn, I wouldn't probably play for long.

Lol, NPCs. Look at the Thalmor in Skyrim. Many people hate Altmer solely because of them. And I love them. So it might turn this way or that, who knows.

But I suspect I'd still like Altmer more.

My first Oblivion Character was an Imperial, just as my first Morrowind Character was a Dunmer. I remember that I made both jack-of-all-trades, doing every quest, clearing every ruin, and using every skill at one point or another.

For the most part, my first Character of each game is more a "test" than anything else, to help me get a feel for the game and get a rough idea of how things work, what places are where, etc.

The Adoring Fan? Someone dislikes Bosmer only because of him? Pfft.

Nah, not only the Adoring Fan. Every idiot, moron or just dumbass is Bosmer in Oblivion. Bethesda did some fine job with making them the joke race there.

Then I'd make a Bosmer character so there will be at least one decent Bosmer in Cyrodiil)))

Do it! Eat them all! :D

I hear it quite often that people make jack of all trades characters, but I always specilalise for some reason. It makes me play the game for second time and I had it like that in my first playthroughs. Though yeah, my characters were a little bit more universal

Lol))) No, that's Cyrodiil, not Valenwood)))

Actually I was thinking that probably I should play Oblivion, at least for some time, just to gather lore, because a pretty big part of my story happens in Cyrodiil and in the time of the Crisis. Or I can just keep pestering Lissette and you about it))))))
