The year it was released. 2002? Xbox and PC. Still play it on Xbox 360 and PC.

And it was your first TES? Zero knowledge?

I find it really awesome that after that stinky Nord you switched to Argonian and stayed with him the whole time. I liked Imperials and Nords when Oblivion came out, been playing them a lot, but now I´m in different place now.

Few months back I was all pro-Altmer and now I´m all about Orcs. But I still remember that first Imperial, who later became inspired by Altair from Assassin´s Creed in 2007.

Some characters stay with you for whole life. Some don´t. So I find it really cool you´ve managed to stay true to your Argonian the whole time.

I just can't stay out of this anymore, must put two septims here)))

My first TES character ever was the one I play now, an Altmer. I knew nothing at all about TES when I created him. Never played Oblivion but something tells me my character wouldn't be an Imperial... Perhaps something's wrong with me)))

For Morrowind I'd definitely choose Dunmer though...

Ha, got you, Thorien! You´ve now oficially became 200th member of TES Classics. Congratulations, you win nothing!

I guess there´s nothing wrong with you because you played Altmer. It´s all about preferences. When I started playing TES I had this opinion that elves are just snobs. In the times of Baldur´s Gate I could play only Humans or Half-Elves, but never elves. I just didn´t like them.

That´s why I rolled the Imperial the first time. But then I played Morrowind and Dunmer seemed like really interesting elven race. Not those Dark Elves as I was used to.

Now the hard part is keeping that number...

Dunmer was the second most interesting Mer race I've played, second to Bosmer. Their lore is so mysterious... and rich. And their playstyle suits them.

Yes. Morrowind and Dunmer always seemed more mysterious and superior in comparison to Oblivion and Imperials or even Skyrim and Nords.

I initially chose Altmer because of their magic. I never care they are snobs, I am one myself too, so it's only fitting)) The thing is that in a few days, as I played, I was learning about the world and my TES worldview was turning more and more Thalmory. So most likely I wouldn't play that character for long if he was a Nord or an Imperial. I was just lucky to choose an Altmer, huh)))

Dunmer are my second favorite race, so in the game that is set in their homeland a Dunmer would be my obvious choice. As for Bosmer, their lore requires a bit of digging, so I'd not choose one as my first character anyway, but now that I know a bit about them, I would play a Bosmer, maybe even in Oblivion.

You really missed out something important. Do you have any idea how TES looked like without the knowledge that there is something someone called Thalmor? Since Skyrim, almost every Altmer I made in Oblivion was Thalmor. I feel spoiled xD Ha, Bosmer in Oblivion...trust me, you don't want to do that xD

To be honest, it's hard for me to imagine how Oblivion looks to a person who knows nothing of TES. The thing that initially converted me into the Thalmory worldview was the whole story of Talos. Do you discover it in Oblivion? I don't know how the overall situation looks in Cyrodiil, but I suspect that I'd still fall into some Elven way still.

What is so bad about Bosmer?
