Hey Wulf, I've been thinking -- why don't you try writing a short story? I can direct you to some helpful resources if you think you'd want to try. I mention it because it's a lot less intense of a project than writing a chapter-based series. Part of growing as a writer comes from finishing projects; I'd argue that finishing projects -- even projects you may not like -- is necessary to growing as a writer. Whether that's finishing one chapter at a time like many of our writers do, or pushing out a random assortment of short stories like I have, being able to conclude a story is not only immensely satisfying, but a necessary part of growing. It gets easier, but it's hard in the beginning. It's never truly "easy", but it does become less of a grind.
