Yeah that sucks, and it's not as though you can redo on that character. Still, it's an enjoyable read :)

After sorting the whole Wilderqueen ordeal (RIP screenshots), it was time to pop back to the Harborage for the next quest in the epic struggle between the misfit heroes and the forces of Molly B. This time, we're headed to the Valley of Blades, where our buddy Sai Sahan studied in his youth to try and become a Sword-Singer. While that failed, he still has fond memories of the place, so it really can't be that bad.

Be sure to talk with everyone throughout various points in the quest, by the way; as always in ESO, there's some good dialogue.

    I mean, dude's got a point.

Anyhoo, as any savvy player immediately knew, things have gone to shit on account of Manny and his Wormies, and so the abbey is on fire and full of Daedric beasties and crazy necromancers. At least Abbie approaches things with the right attitude.

    Admiral Ackbar would be proud!

The next task is to de-power some sigil tech, so go do that. Afterwards, fight the Daedric Titan; these are the Daedra dragon things. Normally, this would be your first introduction to them, but Rahzam had alraedy killed off a Titan general, so he wasn't really too fazed. Be sure to watch for AoEs! Then, go into the seeeecret crypt (Lyris raises the very good question of why this is necessary, especially for Redguards and their dead-honoring whatsit). However, the devs decided to use the crypt for delivering some nice lore, so that's cool.

Lore-gasms are impending. Hide your children.

Manny then appears and tries to take the magic ring (needed for the next quest) from you by raising the dead Yokudan/Redguard heroes. Sai doesn't mind whacking them back into their tombs, at least, though Abbie raises a very good point as to his choice of hiding place.

However, it is worthy of note that, being hardcore warriors that usually fight you in a group, this battle is an immensely difficult fight, even with the support of Abbie, Sai and Titanshagger. Expect to die unless you're really good, and even then you'll probably fall to the unrelenting horde of skelly dudes.

In the aaaaarms, of, an aaaangeeeel...

Still, the quest finishes after they're dealt with, so you can go skulk off and repair your gear. Next stop: Sancre Tor, straight from Oblivion! Which we'll be doing later. For now, I made another tombstone for Rahzam's growing one-cat graveyard.

That's all for this post! Thanks for reading.

It's a really hard fight; fitting, considering we're fighting folks like Divad Hunding. Also, curved swords can be deadly. :P

While doing some aimless wandering of Greenshade, Rahzam came across a cool little objective: Shademist Moors. The gist of things here is that a vampire clan is hunting some Bosmer, and we need to put a stop to it. Of course, no one actually realizes it's a vamprie problem, which raises troubling questions about what the average person knows of the menace.

    Stephen King, anyone?

Go and talk to some other guy in the village, who says a Dark Elf went into the swamp after getting some supplies. However, on the way to track him down, I got distracted by the vampire's servants, werebats. Yes, a new form of therianthrope! Why they serve the vamps is never stated, though I'm tempted to say they've been brainwashed or something.

Man, this is a really... Batshit strain of werecritter-ism.

Anyhoo, the Dunmer dude is Mel Adrys, who's pretty much the typical zealous vampire hunter jerk. He's popular enough that he popped up again in the Gold Coast (a DLC zone), though I never could fathom why. To prove you're above the influence of drugs vampires, you have to go to the lair so you can kill some bloodfiends with him. Interestingly, it's implied that this vampire clan are the Keerlith from lore, which is pretty cool.

Inside the lair, you'll find a vamp begging for his life. Turns out these guys only fed off of hoarvors and stuff, never on people, which is actually pretty nice of them. Unfortunately, Mel has none of it and wants to murder him. You can, however, stop him, and he angrily lets the poor guy go. He reveals the elders are using a magic skull for... Something, so we need to stop them. This is done by murder, obviously. As you whack them, their spirits fly off, bound to the magic skull. So, once all three elders are killed (re-killed?), destroy the skull.

The price is your soul... Though we also accept all major credit cards.

And so wraps up the main objective; go back to the village guy for the usual gold and goodies. There are some other quests to be had in the area, but I won't cover them. Can't spoil everything, can I?

That's all for this post! Thanks for reading.

This guy had a stick up his ass to put an Altmer to shame, didn't he? He's just takes himself so seriously and drips solemnity and gravity like a vampire drips blood from their fangs. I kind of expected him to pop up in Morrowind but all I met was that Buoyant Armiger vampire full of self pity. He was alright as it goes, but random in that he had a lot to say but no impact on the game. Huh, maybe an easter egg that went over my head from TES 3.

    Having dealt

with the Wilderqueen saga, we're off to find the Razberry to hunt down Pelly and the Staff of Magnus! To do this, we head to Woodhearth, a nice seaside place. There, we see a... Rather curious sight.

    Illusion, you say...?

Raz mentions that Pelly is now the head honcho of the Heritance, and has allies in the town! You'd expect we'd be pulling another spy mission like in Cormount, but this is way better. You see, Raz has made arrangements so that Queen Ayrenn will be visiting the town... But it's actually Razberry himself, magically disguised as the young monarch! Being a huge fan of both TES polymorphing and general gender-swapping (no, I don't know why), this was hugely cool. Doubly so because it's Raz.

    Huehuehue.

While Raz prepares to become a High Elven queen, talk to the treethane, who tells you that, not knowing who to trust, it's up to you to guard "Ayrenn". After that, watch the magic, then talk to Razberry. Kudos to Ayrenn's voice actor, she manages to capture Raz's essence pretty well while still using her Ayrenn voice.

    ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Go to the meeting place, where a Thalmor Altmer tries to blow you two up! Surprisingly, Raz is not dead (probably because he's badass). Return to the treethane and Thalmor dude, the latter of which is incredulous because the agent in question was super-loyal. He accompanies you to her quarters, where it turns out the poor mer has been dead for quite a while. Therefore, she can't have done the deed.

After the requisite conversation with Official Dude (who seems remarkably nonplussed by the whole shebang), go find Raz. After a bit of snooping, it is discovered that the agent had a twin sister that impersonated her. Go and track her down, only to discover she's dying. Bummer.

The quest ends there, though we do learn the Heritance plans to attack a place called Seaside Sanctuary. This acutally leads into one of the best damn ES quests ever, though that will come in due time.

That's all for this post! Thanks for reading.

I'm pretty sure Raz-as-Ayrenn makes a quip about spending time alone with the body at some point, too.

It gets even better when you realize Ayrenn and Raz are old friends. Makes one wonder how that conversation went down...

Yeah, I've wondered too. She says something about how they met and it involved a black velvet dress or something. The cirumstances make for quite the fuel for the old imagination. Hmm, might go recheck the rules for the TSC AMOSS Event...
