I've given Borderlands a shot, and while it's my kind of game I felt that the skill system was absolutely tiny... I haven't played 2 so I'd be interested in asking if it's got a more expansive system than 1.

I'll be going back to Dishonored, giving some builds a go as soon as Dishonored 2 is just around the corner. I love the game and while it's a rather simple skill set, there are so many options available to you
A couple are
Warrior (No Assassinating, melee weapons unless required)
Spellsword (Magic and Melee combined)
Mage (Relying primarily on offensive Powers)
Shadowblade (Combining Powers and Assassinations, in other words classic Corvo)
Ranged Assassin (Ranged Weapons only, no alert)
The Murderer (Simply an efficient killer, alert doesn't matter)

Awwww man, it got exciting, it really brings me back to the good old days. I found my first Unique object, which of course in the style of this game, wasn't going to work for my character. First, a Quiver, don't even think I could equip it, and second, well a quiver means a Bow and my character doesn't use one.
Uhh what else...Ooohh I found a skill gem that lets me summon a totem that turns an enemy's dead corpse into Health and I have been abusing that, it's just ridiculous when I'm seeing Corpses disappear (cool effect as well) and my health just shooting up.
Considering I'm turning out to be more of a Mob Fighter (AoE Spells, lower damage) it's actually really useful.

Don't think anyone's mentioned Fire Emblem: Awakening or Fire Emblem: If so I'll throw those out there.
Incidentally, my absolute favorite build is a Celica's Gale Sage with Vantage (priority attack if <50% HP), Wrath (+20 Crit Rate if <50% HP), Vengeance ((Max HP - Current HP)/2 extra damage @ 100% chance), Miracle (45% of surviving a fatal blow), and Tomefaire (+5 damage with magic). The lower the health, the more ridiculous the damage. - Stats are for Gaius x Sumia + Robin x Cynthia (50 Skill, 52 Speed for hilarity)
Basically, the only way to kill Morgan at that point is to use a Longbow, and those are stupidly inaccurate.

You could choose your outfit (Though they only showed up in the Wii version, in PS3 only the default outfit Galen wears in the mission is shown), lightsaber crystal, and two enhancement crystals, and you can unlock and level up powers, combos, some things like vitality, etc
