This is beautifully done. This would have been right at home as a quest in the actual game, and probably would've been one of the best. I've never played a support/healer type, but this is a really captivating concept. I think the theme of this journey to reunite soul-separated lovers is brilliant. I've never even thought about a build where unrequited love was the (hauntingly heart-wrenching) background for all RP motivations.

Really unique, and really well done.

Lets change that "<3 Like" button to "Applause!"

Wow! Thanks so much, Casey. There are a couple quests in Skyrim where you help help tormented lovers find peace in the hereafter. But the Resurrection event (as you pointed out) gave us a chance to play the game as if we were one of those couples--it really was a terrific and rewarding opportunity.

It's very gratifying to see people get (and relate to) that concept... again, thank you :)

Have you duplicated the potion? I have 50 of them!

Show off! xD I was able to watch that video earlier in the day, and as far as I know, I was doing the exact same thing. I wonder if it's the platform... I play PC (I realize I could just use the console commands, but prefer to play the game like everybody else). I'll watch more videos and possibly give it another go later tonight if I get the time... I'm helping plan a surprise anniversary party, and I'm stealing moments here and there to check the blog ;D I have to know, though... are you playing a vampire version of the build? If so, what's it like? The concept did sound pretty kick-tail :D

The vampire version of the build, having necromage, has 100% spell absorbption (I use summon arniel's shade to absorb it and recharge my magicka, it's useful in day light and costs 0 magicka)and -62% magicka regeneration(without counting Recovery2\2), +25% potions effectiveness and duration(the philter of the phantom lasts 45 secs), +50% effectiveness of illusion spells, +25% stealth\restoration spells(CoP)\alteration(paralysis) spells duration\enchantments\ALL shouts(I use Become Ethereal, Battle fury to buff Golldir, Dragon aspect, Marked for death before the Spiritually grounded move, Bend will rarely) some vampiric powers. I also use Mist form power in human form (it costs only 30 of magicka) via glitch as an Oh shit button.

Holy Crud! She sounds like a whirling dervish of death. I knew vampirism would beef the build up, but this... that's insanely cool!

With vampirism and necromage, if you have the right enchantments  the stage 4(vampirism)  is'nt a problem, so you can play without any problem, mainly with a buffer\healer character.

I was wondering besides Become Ethereal shout for RP reason & such what other shouts would you recommend or is that the only one you really need & also you said once you hit adept destruction firebolt was your go to flame spell but isn't firebolt an apprentice spell or did you mean fireball and that was a typo? o.o

I think the only other shouts I used were Unrelenting Force, Whirlwind Sprint, and Aura Whisper, but I used them only rarely... from a mechanics and a RP perspective I really didn't need anything else. But, of course, personal preference should always be your guiding star :)

No, that wasn't a typo. Playing with a follower made Fireball kind of a hassle, so I used it only infrequently. Firebolt is quick, clean, and above all forgiving. The Impact perk really does help to keep it viable... dual (stagger), right, left, then repeat the process until you can step over their corpse and find a new target :)

Waiting till Adept; however, was an error on my part. I was focusing at the time on Restoration perks, and didn't perk Impact till after I hit 50 on destruction. I used mostly Flames till then. If I had it all to do over again, I would have perked Impact at 40... again, that stagger is extremely nice.

Ah I see thanks for the clarification :)
