Good find, Thorien. This is a interesting book. It's one of those that imply Elves live longer than mere 300 years. At least that was the interpretation of informations from this book. But nothing here really says that his life isn´t extended by magic, or alchemy, or by some other voodoo.
Or, it can be that he really lived that long without magic extending his life. I mean...Direnni were Aldmer, right? Much closer to Et'Ada, Aetherius and all that. You think that with stronger connection to Magicka you can live longer?
Btw, is that your handwriting? It´s just tiny little bit hard to read.

I have a feeling that the mere 300 years is in fact an average lifespan of a lowborn mer one can meet planting in a field or fishing in the sea, while the scions of the ancient pureblood families can live much longer. And even longer is they are mages.
Lol, no, my handwriting is a bit easier to read albeit much less fancy))

So, technicaly...Better conditions and easy access to magic and better ancestorship mean longer life? Well, it kind of makes sense, right? But I feel like we are mostly talking about Altmer here. How about Dunmer and Bosmer? We know from our article that Bosmer are pretty much like rabbits, so I guess there won´t be much pure blood. As for Dunmer...it´s really hard to say how much pure blood is in them.

This indeed applies mostly to Altmer but I guess a big part of it can be said about Dunmer as well. They may be changed (cursed?) but their customs and overall culture suggest they are mostly pureblood. Bosmer, though... well))))) And what about Orcs? What do you think?

I´m pure believer of Orcs living just as long as humans can. Either because of Trinimac being changed to Malacath, or because of that Orkey curse he threw at Nord but it then rebounded.
Either way, the ESO outside source says that Elves live aproximataly three times longer than Men and Beast races with big emphasis on "(Orcs included)"
I do think that Orcs represent something in between of Mer and Beast. Also, with their lives and all that...To be honest, I can´t imagine an regular Orc living as long as other Mer. It´s just something that doesn´t sit with me when it comes to Orcs.

Oh, no objections from me there. As I said...life extended by magic, alchemy or maybe other means. So yeah, I can see an badass Orc living as long as Divayth Fyr. Would be really cool to meet with an Orc living that long. If some Orc was living for that long, I think he would discover the truth about Trinimac and Malacath...
