I don't really have a strict regime - as long as I do around one-two hours everyday, or more if I have the time, then I'm all set. But unfortunately I'm very lazy when it comes to drawing and Photoshop, and I have a habit of starting a drawing and then quitting half way! Or... I get frustrated with a drawing and rage quit.
Similar to you I also want a career in art/graphic design, and feel that I should get used to drawing everyday as most professional artists have to draw around 8 hours or more a day! As long as I practice everyday I'm satisfied, because as most people say, "Practice makes perfect."
