What difficulty though? Because even with Ironflesh with 2 perks in mage armor my Vampire is still 1 shotted by a level 30 enemy using a power attack and you have to get out of Become Ethereal eventually o_O

Technically you don't have to as this build can reach the ability to have infinite Become Ethereal. And I played this build on Expert, and had no problems. If you engage combat as I described in the gameplay section, you shouldn't have any problem, since I didn't have any problems at all using that tactic

I agree, I've always believed that the skill tree to the alchemy skill tree was a croc, It could have been a hell of alot better! The mod - The song of the Alchemist justifies this perfectly. It can be extremely hard and tedious. However, finally at 100 and with every perk taken, Alchemy does give an increditable amount of versatility.
@Naeg - If you play on PC, I recommend the mod for you or anyone else who doesn't care for the skill. It will certainly put more JUICE on your playthroughs. It did with mine on the second one.

You better be REALLY GOOD not to get hit. With no defense and low health, This character is very fragile. While it is focusing on alot of offensive capabilities, having the defense of some kind, is just as important!
By reading these kinds of builds on here, I can now see why they stop at a particular level. With such as a "squishy" character ( A perfect word for it Naeg! ) going any higher with such a poor defense rating would make future encounters even harder to survive. UNLESS, they were to take up another skill tree such Alteration and Light Armor.
After all, what this build said about dealing with dragons is proof enough!
I do like the storyline for it though. Nicely done as well as presented.

You know, this is pretty damn good. The presentation is tight and magical berserking vampires are a niche that doesn't get explored very often--but it's fantastic when they do. The playstyle is badass and I like the infusion of lore and the addition of a new Quarra build. The only piece of advice I have for you is to maybe tighten up the writing style, there are some parts that are wordier than they need to be, but that's really it, and I'm not exactly someone who can berate someone for build-length.
Also, your tags are off. You can have 3 "Character Build ____" tags, the race tag "Race:Dunmer", the Rank:Bloodworks tag (not for much longer!) and any other unofficial tags you like. So, just take off one of Illusionist, Spellsword, Unarmored, and Vampire.
