Trick Shots? Is this Call of Duty?
Great build, you would think it could be the same as other Thief builds on the site (since this is literally 'The Thief') but I love the combination of poisons with elements to give a really cool 'gadget' feel. I also like the use of the Aetherial Staff as a distraction device, as Conjuration seems too arcane for a thief.
Another thing I haven't thought of before is using Paralysis poisons to 'knockout' guards rather than killing them, which is particularly useful in Skyrim where not every dungeon is ideal for a thief and on another thief character I would have to resort to killing.
Although I understand the synergy of Illusion with a thief I think this build thrives on using gadgets or poisons rather than magic, so I personally would not use Illusion if I played this build.
I don't usually give so much feedback so hopefully I haven't waffled too much

Imperial's luck is glitched and is given to every race.... so that is one reason taken down... and illusion is a lot more useful since you can use it more than once a day.
But other than those minor gripes, awesome build.

If you can't pickpocket the poison into them use legendary difficulty and practice arrows and a long bow to deliver the poisons. It won't kill and the arrows are free.

I've started using illusion only after becoming a Nightingale. I found out that it fit quite well with the new champion of Nocturnal thing and the skill boost provided by the Nightingale hood.

I did not know that about Imperial's Luck . Voice of the Emperor is extremly useful at low levels. It works on most npcs regardless of their level.

It is for all platforms. It isn't noticeable unless you get rid of it with console commands or mods.... then instead of 10-20 gold per chest and bodies you get at max 10.
