POLL Do you want to see a Skyrim 'Remastered' edition?

    Recently I've seen increasing buzz around the idea of a Skyrim 'Remastered' edition possibly being in the work - with some people suggesting that this could possibly be Bethesda's big reveal at this years E3 conference coming up next month.

    By Skyrim 'Remastered' we are talking about an edition of the game for PS4 and XboxOne. Of course this would also raise the tantalising possibility that such an edition - if indeed it exists - could also include the same 'technology' employed in Fallout 4 that would enable mods to be added.

    Of course, this is all rumour and speculation (at the moment). But you know how it is on The Tamriel Vault ... we LOVE rumour and speculation!

    So that's the topic of this weeks poll. Do you want to see a Skyrim Remastered edition? Or is it simply a distraction from the main business that Bethesda needs to be pushing on with, namely Elder Scrolls VI?

    I've got to be honest, the idea of a Skyrim Remastered is intriguing - and not just because I'm a PS4 player these days. Let's be honest, we're not getting Elder Scrolls VI for a couple of years at least - and so porting over Skyrim to this generation of consoles represents an easy way to revive interest in the game. I say that having NO idea just how much work would be involved in that - although I'm pretty certain it must be a whole lot less than creating a new Elder Scrolls game...

    Not only is it something I'd love to see but I really don't think it'd be too far of a stretch, to at least get a HD version. Personally I'd rather have a copy with modded support, but in general if I could play Skyrim on PS4, it'd be amazing.

    Nah, mods cover that for me  Oblivion and Morrowind though - would be great

    As much as I'd like to see one, I am doubtful that Bethesda would make a remastered edition for Morrowind or Oblivion. Besides, I'm quite happy with Morrowind just the way it is, no need for any fancy "Modern" editions.

    First I thought "No, I want Morrowind!" but then I realised that Skywind is exactly that and I am totally happy with that so yeah, I would play a remastered Skyrim but I would want mods.

    Skyrim Remastered with all new exploits and game destroying bugs.

    Now THAT is the remastered version we really need. Maybe a fifteen-times stackable Lover's Stone that allows you to get to level 81 just leveling One-Handed?

    Paul, its not only intriguing, its elfin brilliant especially if we are able to play with SOME mods, I particularly like Perkus Maximus, Capes, most of the Armour and Weapon mods and Alchemists have Ingredients, However is it likely that us lowly console playing "Diddies" will get to experience such things? unlikely methinks!!,  but I am allowed to hope and dream. The future of Skyrim lies in modded gameplay I truly believe that, and so with that in mind I will be first in line at the Game store to buy it.
