Exciting news on the home front!
After running a number of polls over the past few months and gauging where the community's interests lie, it's evident to that there is a need for more focused coverage of RPGs... We hear you! Though there isn't enough support for individual game groups either. So to bridge this gap in our community, the admin team is pleased to announce that the Gaming Corner is being revamped and will be joining forces with Mass Effect (formerly The Citadel) to form a new super group now known as The RPG Group! We're also pleased to announce that the new central hub for your favorite non-TES or Fallout roleplaying games is being headed up by Raid and Bonelord, so make sure to hit them up if you have any questions on specifics.
So... why one group? By narrowing the focus to RPGs only and combining your creative content in a central location, rather than sequestered in small, individualized groups with just a few members, your projects get more visibility and opportunities for feedback. We think it will be a great repository of information and hope to see lots of cool builds, guides, lore and roleplay articles come out of this synergistic group. You might learn something new, or discover a passion for a game you've never played before.
Now, a bit of housekeeping. To those who have posted non-RPG content in The Gaming Corner before, rest assured your content will not be deleted! But going forward we ask that you keep non-RPG discussions located in the General Gaming Forum. If you've previously posted content in the Mass Effect group, and want to make sure it's preserved, please move it over to the new RPG Group over the next week or so.
And of course, a big 'thank you' to Dragonborn1721 for all his dedication and hard work in the Gaming Corner as Host. His efforts there laid the foundation for this group, and we're so grateful for all he's done.
We're very excited to bring all our hardcore RPG fans together in one dedicated place, and we hope you'll all check in on the group as Raid and Bonelord start setting up shop there. Be on the lookout for new discussions, content, group rules, and tagging guides soon. We're looking forward to showcasing some of the cool happenings that come out of this group with front page features, and we hope you're all excited as we are to see what our community can come up with when all our beloved RPGs join forces!
