(Not related to THOSE Grey Knights, screw Khal Draigo, and his beard full of tiny men.)

Welcome, to my first build for one of my favorite games, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords, and my first build for General Gaming. I love anti-heros, and I love conflicted heros, with that, I present to you all....

    Grey Knight Theme Music

I remember Malachor V, I remember the lessons Revan brought to both us, and the Galatic Republic. The Jedi Council have condemned me as fallen, for my use of the Dark, but neigh, I am not. I have seen visions of the future, of a Jedi Master letting the Dark Side flow through him, but letting it pass, in a lightsaber form. I wield the Light and Dark as tools, I am the furtive Darkness cast by Light, and the flicker of Light within the Dark. I serve the Republic with powers men call evil or good. They only see things in shades of black and white, but not I. I see things in shades....

    ....of Grey.

The overall theme of the character reminded me of playing Jedi Academy, using a character that wielded both the Light Side Powers, and Dark. It also reminded me of Revan, who seemed to fall to the Dark Side, but in actuality was testing the Republic, possibly to deal with the Eternal Empire/True Sith.

Gender: Male/Female, personally, I went male

    Starting Class-Jedi Sentinel-

    Prestige Class-Sith Lord.

Both Sentinel and Lord give us more skills to work with. Plus, I played this character as a balancing act, like most Grey Jedi, walking the tightrope between the Light and Dark Sides of the Force.

Main Companions: Kreia and Atton Rand.

    Starting Attributes

    Str-13 Dex-12 Con-12 Int-12 Wis-10 Cha-14

    Final Attributes (Including boosts)

    Str-21 Dex-14 Con-16 Int-16 Wis-10 Cha-21

    Feats

    • Armor proficiency-Light=>Heavy

    • Master Flurry

    • Master Power Attack

    • Dual-Wielding

    • Jedi Defense

    • Primary Powers:

Force Lightning-A staple of Star Wars, this was my go-to power. When we finally upgrade it to Force Storm, we’ll get to shock a group of foes. Plus, it's friggin fun.

Knight Heal-While a Lightside Power, it will allow us to heal a fair bit of health when Death Field or a Medpac aren’t feasble.

Death Field-A large-scale version of Drain Life, it allows us to heal more depending on how many organic foes are nearby, provided they don’t resist or are immune.

Force Persuade-Allowing for extra options in conversations, this two-perk tree allows you to get rid of some enemies, or increase rewards.

Stasis Field-Starting combat with this or Force Storm allows you to either damage, or freeze non-droid enemies, allowing you to cut them down with your dual sabers, or focus on the main threat(s).

    Equipment

    image.jpeg

Grey Jedi Robes-The centerpiece of the build, these offer +1 to Defense, Saves: Reflex +1, Skills: Stealth +4, Charisma +2, Regenerate Force Points +1, and Regeneration 2). Plus, they looks stylish

Stabilizer Mask-Worn primarily for Aesthetic choice, this mask offers an immunity to Stun, Fear, and Horror, and Saves: All +2. A fitting substitute would be the Force Mask.

    Pheremone Package-Persuade +1, Charisma +1

    Left Arm-Mandalorian Power Shield

    Right Arm: Insert Name’s Armband

    Belt-CNS Strength Enhancer-Strength +4

    Gloves-Ossluk’s Gloves (Constitution +1, Dexterity +1, Strength +2)

Right Weapon 1-Single Saber, Silver Crystal, Exile Crystal, Qixoni Crystal.

Left Weapon 1-Short Lightsaber-Orange Crystal, Ultima Pearl and Ankarres Sapphire

Right Weapon 2-Single Saber-Silver Crystal, Dragite and Opila

Left Weapon 2-Freedom Nadd’s Short Lightsaber.

    Kreia and Atton

I love both these two, not only are they the first companions you get on your merry quest to stop the Sith, Atton with his snarky, progenitor to Han Solo personality, and Kreia, with her mysterious nature, great twist, and because she plays a similar role to, and looks like the older version of Rose from Fable 2, (I think they’re voiced by the same person). Kreia was my character’s mentor through all this. Atton was his first apprentice.

    Combat:

Throughout this build, I utilized Kreia as the mentor she is. Using Force Chain, any buffs you or she use, the other gains as well. Using Force Speed, I would open up with a Stasis, or Force Whirlwind to get as many foes out of the way as possible. Next, an Advanced Lightsaber Throw, dealing damage to as many as possible. Following that, I would have Atton, at this point a Jedi Sentinel, to Force Storm the enemies, and Kreia renews the Force Whirlwind.

Using Kill on any foes, I proceeded to basically spam Master Flurry, with the occasional Force Storm/Master Power Attack thrown in. When health was dropping, I would use a mix of Heal and Death Field. When my Force Points were gone, I would switch to Medpacs.

Let Kreia buff you up with Knight Speed and Battle Meditation. Once she “leaves” in the second half of the game, or while dicking around on Korriban, then take either Visas or HK-47 as your companion alongside Atton.

If need be, prior to combat, and if possible, try and utilize Force Persuade/Persuade to thin out the enemies, get them to not fight at all, or simply kill eachother.

    Thanks for Reading!

Interesting you chose a male character. Since they said the canon Exile is a woman I can't play as a man in this game. I hate canon.

Nice blend of light and dark Chris

And they gave her a canon name, and thanks Phil

I like the idea of the build, but I personally don't see it working (part of that could be your lack of late game attributes). With such low Wisdom/Charisma you won't really be successfully using many Force Powers, most Jedi/Sith (which later on become much more frequent) will easily make saves, as will a fair few normal enemies. At the same time your Strength is too low to inflict much melee damage, or have that good of a chance to hit.

If it is just a situation of you not displaying your late game attributes then I would get on it (With the increased attribute through bonuses in brackets), if not then while the idea is good it's just a flawed character for gameplay, too much deviation from a solid character so you can work with everything.

But as I said, the idea is still solid, no a great idea, it's just either your presentation is off or the build is slightly flawed. Either way I'll still give you a +1 and thank you for joining in on the Event.

EDIT: I do see that your Strength is higher than I thought...You really need to show us the final attributes here. The Force Power problem still remains the same 17 Charisma really won't be enough to hit late-game enemies.
