WiP Character Build: Ulfric's Assassin

Hello all!  Long time lurker, first time poster!  During my last playthrough using the Arrowsworn build, I finally had some original ideas of my own and I have a desperate drive to put them here on the vault.  I'm getting ready to start playing this first build and am really hoping for some feedback and aid before I finalize it.  I'll put my questions and concerns in a separate post below this working template.  Thanks!

    Ulfric's Assassin

This is the first build in a pair I thought up recently that revolves around the Civil War, a quest line I have never completed for either side.  I never did it because I usually play characters whose roleplay never fits, so I came up with concepts that should fit well within the lore.

    background story to come

Race:  Nord.  I played a female due to character concept but that doesn't matter to overall play.

Standing Stone:  Thief or Warrior then Lord.  I exploited Ralof while exiting Helgen in order to max my Sneak at the start. I did this not only to speed up gameplay, but to also represent the character's skill level prior to the game's start. In this case I chose the Warrior Stone to help level my One-Handed faster to catch up with my Sneak skill. You do not have to do this for the build and if you don't I would choose the Thief Stone as the build has a larger number of those skills. I personally prefer the bonuses of the Lord stone later on with the mix of combat scenarios the assassin sees. The Shadow Stone makes for a fun thematic power

Equipment:  Depends on your current assignment.   Stormcloak gear for Civil War missions or Dark Brotherhood gear for their missions.  Undercover gear for missions outside of these that are not in Stormcloak territory.

Major Skills:  Sneak, One-Handed, Light Armor.

    Minor Skills:  Archery, Block

Quests:  The major questlines to pursue are the Civil War then Dark Brotherhood.

Once the Civil War is complete then travel to the holds and become thane to gather support for Ulfric's bid to become High King.

Blood on the Ice, even though you're a stone cold killer, Ulfric's people should be protected.

Pieces of the Past. Mehrune's Razor is a great weapon for an assassin and what an excellent use for it in Stormcloak hands.

Recommended Mods:  Face Masks of Skyrim

Well, there's the start!  At least now I feel like I can start playing it.  LOL  Does anyone have more suggestions on skills?  I was thinking of no to minor magic use and maybe staying away from crafting.  She's going to be a dagger sneak attacker, so I plan on only doing a minor amount of archery.  She prefers her kills to be personal.  Also, I play on Xbox One and only have a tablet for my computer work so if anyone can help me with formatting tips or if you have any art recommendations that would be appreciated as well!   I'm really excited to finally be posting something on this awesome site so thanks for having me!

Edit:  Oh and quest suggestions!   I'm having a hard time deciding on a quest order to make a cohesive story.  I know civil war and DB quest lines, but in what order?  I also know that after the Civil war I think the thane quests should be done in order to solidify votes to make Ulfric high king.

Ugh.  Well, level 21 now and totally rethinking my combat style.  Also thinking that maybe I should not have wailed on Ralof in Helgen to speed level Sneak.  LOL   I was going for a change from Sneak dagger to sword and board when discovered, but it just doesn't feel satisfying.

I retract my previous statements. I'm not sure what happened but after powering through my frustrations the build hit a stride and it is working now as i had envisioned. Once I got Mehrune's Razor I dropped the idea of switching weapons for open combat. It's a lot of fun cutting off heads with it!
