Hello everyone and welcome to my new Skyrim build. After a bit of dissapointment that was my Graverobber build, I decided to take another try at Skyrim, so... wish me luck.

Ordinator and Character Creation Overhaul Build:

    THE ASSASSIN

"They say that you should dig two graves when planning revenge. I'm going to need a lot more than two."

    BACKSTORY:

I never thought that my life would become like this. That I would spend nights in taverns and camps along the road. That I would hold a dagger behind my back while I shook hands with my next victim. Some say that, compared to my former life, I've fallen down and became just another peasant. They are wrong! Compared to my former life, I have risen above them. I have become something more. I may be a servant to someone, something, but I still control my life, my destiny. I decide who will meet their end at the tip of my blade. Unlike others, I don't do this for personal pleasure, but to avenge my family and rid my name of the shame that has been brought upon it so long ago.

Still, sometimes I miss my former life. Fishing with my father in the bay near Leyawiin and creating potions with my mother. I thought it would last forever. Then they came and changed everything. Drove my father to madness and eventually suicide, used and murdered my mother. Burned down my family home! I went to the guards, and instead of serving justice, they accused me of murder and locked me up! They say that the couldn't accuse members of the royal family and their friends.

Now, more than 25 years later, I hunt them. One with the shadows, I strike before they even see me. I target the very top of the royal family and the Legion. The Empire is standing with a rope around it's neck. And I'll be the one to open the hatch!

RACE: Female Imperial, Nord or Breton

STANDING STONE: Shadow - until you can get your hands on the Invisibility spell, then switch to Thief to level your skills faster.

SPECIALIZATION: Stealth - stealth is the most crucial part of any assassin or thief build.

ATTRIBUTE: Health - health will be important if you get detected. The only magic skill this build uses is alchemy and you won't run                     much, so you don't need much magicka or stamina.

STATS: 0/3/1 - As you can see, no magicka is used. Health is the most important for when you get detected, and one point in                                stamina will make sure that you can run a bit further and quickly go back to stealth.

    SKIILS:

    ARCHERY

One of the more important skills, archery will be used to take down foes from a longer distance without being seen. One shot kills are critical.

    ONE-HANDED

Your main weapon is your dagger, so one-handed is important for those fast and silent kills.

    ALCHEMY

Using poisons on daggers and arrows is the way to go. Silent and efficient.

    LIGHT ARMOR

The lighter the armor, the harder it is to detect you. And armor gets more resiliant as you put some perks into it.

    LOCKPICKING

Knowing how to get through locked doors is important to find alternate routes to your targets and get to that rare treasure on the other side.

    SNEAK

The most important skill and one with the most perk points spent on it. Sneak everywhere.

I'm done with the main part but there are some mods out there that can enhance your gameplay with the Assassin.

Ordinator - Perks of Skyrim - This build is made with Ordinator. It is a great perk overhaul and I can't play without it. It adds many more amazing perks and it's like it should have been in the vanilla game.

Sneak Tools - A great mod that enhances the stealth gamplay heavily. The are many new additions such as fire arrow, water and oil arrow and arrows that fire ropes that you can use to climb to rooftops. It even has crossbow bolts with these add ons.

Archery Gameplay Overhaul - A mod that overhauls archery. You can really become master archer with this mod.

Character Creation Overhaul - A mod that changes character creation and brings back the class system from Oblivion and Morrowind. A great and easy way to create a character you want.

Who doesn't love a traditional Assassin eh? The backstory is intriguing, and I like that its the Imperials who are the bad guys, gives a nice change to the Thalmor. Are you planning on joining the rebellion? I think the Civil War could open up some great opportunities for an assassin, and it could create some awesome roleplay - interrogating officers, stealing 'documents' from camps to find the whereabouts of so and so etc.

I will join the Stormcloaks. That's Rogue's fault. He fed me so much propaganda that I can't stand the Imperials anymore. I'll also create a kill list under the roleplay section of the build. It'll show high ranking Imperials and their allies around Skyrim that need to be eliminated to ensure that the Empire ends up leaderless.

What I recommend, D3LTA, is that you comb through builds tagged with "assassin". Yes, you're going to find a lot. It's a popular build style here. Then really study your build and see what you can do to offer something different. And it doesn't have to be mechanics. For example, "The Sting" portion of my Agents of Oegnithir offered nothing really new to the mechanics table, but people really liked her streamlined simplicity and the way I twisted her quests to further the Thalmor agenda. Being unique doesn't always mean gameplay. In fact, too much complication in gameplay, can make a character feel convoluted sometimes, unless it's handled well.

I see what you're trying to do with the two-colored words, but it isn't consistent. Sometimes two letters, sometimes three or more. Otherwise, it's a sound start. What kind of art have you drummed up?

This has some nice images you could maybe cut out...?

All this assassin stuff going on right now is tickling my fur, almost tempted to roll a Morag Tong or Dark Bro myself. And that's saying something. At risk of self-promotion, I wonder if anything in here would help you? Assassin's are hard to bring new stuff to, but they needn't be dull for all that. What you have so far is cool.

I'm proud of you, Delta! Not only an assassin but an assassin Stormcloak? Best build you've made. I'm calling it before it's even out. That's my go to character for Skyrim playthroughs.

Thanks for the advice, Liss. I'm mostly taking screenshots of my playthrough and key moments and editing them a bit. Not very skillful with the editor.
