I like what you have here Rabyd, very interesting concept of Fire and Steel. It would seem to me that a good accompanying skill to smithing and Destruction would Be enchanting for the Fire enchanter perk, might be a good way to tie in the fire magic with the weapons and armor you are creating.

Thanks. Enchanting is on my mind but it may be a secondary skill. I plan on playing this character for a while and the perk choices on some areas are very specidfic so there may be some room for specific ones in Enchanting involving fire. Would enhance the whole feel of the build.

Fascinating backstory on your blog!
This may or may not fit into the direction you're heading, but there's a unique two-handed weapon which combines steel and fire as well as the possibility of being useful in the enchanting you're considering:
Steel Battleaxe of Fiery Souls
Of course we know it's there though your character won't know it's there for roleplay purposes. However, two NPCs appear outside of the barrow which may make initiating the quest feasible depending on whether or not your character is one to strike up conversations with random people she encounters.

Caught up with gameplay to this point. I added Enchanting to my list as suggested because I think it will be a good complimentary skill to smithing. I don't like using too many skills as you can get spread out too much perk wise. A good afternoon of progress.
Froma role play point of view, she is gonig to be attracted to smiths and religious figures so that is what the quests will reflect at first.

Mechanically this is really similar to a build I've been considering firing up, but the roleplay is waaaay different. Great minds think alike I suppose!
I'm really into this build, the RP is elegant and effective, the images and theme of the build is rough and ready but with character, the gameplay is gonna be a blast (well, I think it'll be) and I love builds that surround a character instead of a gameplay mechanic. The inclusion of a blog to go along with it is also excellent, especially as the build is so character driven.
I'll be keeping my eye on this one.

Thanks. I do better with role play builds as I find them more enjoyable. It also makes my choices seem more relaistic. Hope you continue to enjoy it.
