...soaking in the gorgeous tropical rays on the deck of your ship. All of the sudden, you are dashed about by a virulent storm. The ship yawns starboard then crashes to the keel as a tremendous wave flattens you to the deck. You scramble to hold on as you are tossed about as another monstrous tower of water menaces the ship. Suddenly your tenuous grip fails and you are propelled into the sea by the force. Sinking slowly in the dark violent waters, you reach for any preservation.
The brilliant, blinding sun awakens you and as you squint to block out the horrible glare, you peer through slotted eyelids at your surroundings. Awakening on an unfamiliar beach alone and broken, you happen, by some miracle to spy one piece of your luggage. You crawl towards it, barely reaching it before collapsing. With a last tremendous effort you unhinge the thing and with-in lies...
Now the cheat, previous to your departure, you had a premonition about the sinking ship. Subconsciously you packed the items that you would most desire into your chest were you to be marooned. (And just so it isn't full of H2O) there is a fresh water lagoon nearby and all the exotic food you can eat. Now, open it up...what did you pack, my darlings?!
NO F'ING CUCUMBERS!!!
too easy - a fully charged radio transmitter, and a gps device, mosquito netting, survival knife, first aid kit, small coil of rope, water-proof matches/ lighter to start a fire, pocket tool and if I still have room, a small machete, a wide-brim hat, folding shovel, more rope, water-proof tarp, hammock, a cook-pot.. and if there's still room - Gigi Edgley.
It would make it more interesting if electronic devices were disalllowed.
Fine then I'll re-think my answer. Compass, Rope, Flares, my revolver for protection, About a weeks worth of amo for the gun, Matches, a good book, a few blankets, and My dog (he would be with me instead of in the case) because I'm gonna need something to keep me company while I wait for help.
