Who would be intrested in trying a Master of 1 perk tree build?

I have began a new build were my character only puts perks in one combative tree, my chosen tree was sneak. It has been more interesting then I anticipated because my character can sneak and kill most all creatures with one or two hits. The thing is when my sneaking failed and I was fighting I felt a lot more adrenaline, cause I was thinking without dual furry will I be fast enough, without juggernaut can I survive. I just want to know what everyone thinks about it, and would it be  worth any of your time for me to make a very small build outlining ways to make sing combative tree characters?

Interesting concept, but I think impractical for a full build. One perk tree will only get you to around level 15-20, and that's if you're really pushing things. But for the sake of amusement, here are a few I'd try:

Alteration. Pick up "advanced" Atronach stone (buffed by Philter of the Healer) and Atronach perk for total 100% Spell Absorption. Can use Dragonhide for 80% physical damage resistance, or just Ebonyflesh for 300. Could throw in some armored clothing like fine armguards, General Tullius armor, etc. to get to 400+ AR. At that point, you're utterly immune to magical effects, with the capacity to hit the 80% DR cap as well. Paralysis for offense, Stability can be used with Slow Time if needed. Pick your weapon; any will do.

Alchemy. Arguably the most diverse skill in the game, in that it can open up doors for any play style. Especially if you're willing to use tricks like Fortify Restoration to buff enchantments, and/or Fortify Archery to buff any/all physical attacks. Only real limit is your imagination. I honestly believe it'd be possible to do a 0 AR Ebony Blade alchemist on adept with no other perks, with the right potions and worn gear.

Illusion. Aspect of Terror adds +10 damage/second to Ignite (and Ancestor's Wrath if Dunmer) for massive fire damage. Ignite can be cast without any Desturction perks since it's an Apprentice level spell. Muffle, Invisibility, and Quiet Casting allow for stealth even without Sneak perks, especially with the right gear, stone, and/or enough skill experience. Fear/Calm/Frenzy, with Master of the Mind, to control enemies.

Enchanting would also be pretty easy I think, and there are a lot of different ways you could approach that. With all the shouts, stones, other passive abilities/powers, followers, weapons and armor, etc. you can make most skills viable long enough to pick up every perk. But the issue is, that can be done in <10 hours for many skills. Then what do you do?

What if you could only max one combat oriented tree, then you could still level up and you would feel more freer to max the perk tree for the little stuff you don't usually use like speech, lockpicking, smithing, etc. Also the character has made me way more reliant on strategy, using the in game environment feels like second nature now.

I really like the idea of an alteration only build, that's a great idea.

If you feel it is worth the time to make one. Go for it.

I'm currently working on my first build, The Kitsune, but I plan to make a diverse monster slayer for my second build, who specialises in Alchemy. There will be some other non-combat skills involved, namely enchanting, but he has no points in any combat based skills; he fights by buffing himself with powerful potions. The enchanting is so I can make poweful potions that won't be game breaking.

It's possible, I done a variation of it in my level 6 only challenge. All you need is to max out sneak, get a bound bow spell and horde any fortifying archery items. Pour all of your points into health. Get Beast Form. In combat just rely on sneak bow attacks, if push comes to shove go into Beast Form. Was able to beat the entire game DLC included on Expert all at level 6, I'm pretty sure it applies to Master as well.

Conjuration. It even works on Legendary as the damage input-output penalty doesn't apply on summons. When you arrive to Whiterun, buy the spell tome Soul Trap. Buy a horse. If you have no enough gold the tome and the horse, visit the Dawnstar chest. I don't consired it cheating if you visit it only once. And this exploit exists since the release of the base game, there were so many patches, 3 DLCs, so if it was an unwanted glitch, it would be already patched. Power level you Conjuration till lvl 100, perk the atronach side and Novice - Master. Go to the College and buy Conjure Dremora Lord Spell. you will be around lvl 17-18 and can counjure 2 dremora lords (with 100 conjuration and expert perk it will cost  106.3 mana. 2 Dremora lord beats anything not only on lvl 17-18 but on lvl 40+ too
