Quests

  • In either Morrowind or Oblivion, has there been a quest that stands out in your opinion? One that kept you at the edge of your seat, wanting m ore of the same? I'd love to hear some thoughts and opinions of you guys on your favourite quest.

And on a side note, how do you feel quests will or have improved in Skyrim?

The Dark Brotherhood Quest Whodunnit. That was the best, most fun, and most memorable quest for me, it was a blast! Getting to play the NPC's off of one another like that, it was the most in depth side quest I had seen at that point, and I'll always remem...  more

Both games had great quests. Like a lot of people here, the "whodunit" brotherhood quest was absolutely awesome the first time around. I'm also quite fond of the "A show over Hackdirt" because the HP Lovecraft reference. Enjoyed taking down the Gate Keepe...  more

I loved the Dark Brotherhood and Thieves guild quest lines, particularly the "whodunit" quest for DB and the framing of the informant in TG.

I enjoyed the Dark Britherhood quests as they were different, hiding in an attic and unscrewing a large light beats the usual kill with a knife, I think it was called "Accidents Happen".
On the other side of the coin I did not like most of the Fight...  more

The quest in oblivion were you go into the painting to help save the artist was good i thought and i really enjoyed the mission for the DB where you had to murder a houseful of people at a party without getting caught.

@trevor...Phew! Thanks. I recall now. It's been awhile. That quest stood out for me. I think one of the challenges you end up fighting youself, or someone looking like you.
