"The Uninvited" prolouge: Blood Bath

  •      Drawstring against lips, I release the string. Sending the glass arrow shooting to kiss the sky. As it plummets to the ground, a vampire's head meets it, sending them both into the dirt. "One down, a whole castle to go."

I race to the nearest watchtower caressing the stones with my palms. I can feel the sweat accumulate upon my brow, resisting the impulse to swipe it clean I race to the next source of cover on the bridge. "Make haste to Dimhollow Crypt. Our lord wishes his daughters return."

"At once Garan. The scouts will return with our beloved lady by next nightfall." I smile, a new prize for the dawnguard to be eradicated? It would be a shame if the dimwitted vampires lost their 'lady'. The gate separating my blood lust from them to me opens letting two scouts leave their hiding hole.  kneeling behind the statue my hand years for me draw my bow ready. My senses sing as I place my palm over my mouth. "Laas-Yah-Nir." Knowing my prey is at a disadvantage I laugh inside. Their footfalls crescendo towards me I spring from my hiding place, sending my arrow into the heart of another vampire. I make a rash decision to spare the others life. Slowly, I walk over to him kneeling by his side. "Are...are you dawnguard?"

" Haha, no I do not choose sides to an endless war I do not wish to fight. I need information. about your lady, and the location of Dimhollow Crypt." I pull the arrow out of his thigh his cry brings music to my ears. "I do not feel like I need to answer your questions, watch where you tread warrior." I chuckle, "Haha, then you misunderstand me, those were not questions but demands. And my dear friend, you are in not position to be placing threats where threats are not needed." I say spinning the arrow around with my fingertips. "Very cat and mouse I see young women. Before I answer, I must know something crucial." His words leave an echo in the twilight air, "Do you plan on hurting our lady?" I am speechless, I had not thought that far into my foolhardy plan, seeing my hesitation I fear he might mistake this for malice intentions. "No." Is all I can manage to muster, for the words I try to force out, nothing escapes but hot air, leaving it to meet the brisk atmosphere. "I do not wish to hurt her, only save lives. Everyday people die on both sides because of an unknown or useless cause, I hope that if I can bring your lady to Soslthiem at least there I can possibly spare more lives. I want to stop the blood bath." I say lifting my body to face the rays of sun, reflecting off my deathbrand armor. He steadies himself and continues. "You must be the drangonborn." I am flustered and take a few steps back. "Mother and father murdered by vampire and dawnguard sentinels." I can feel my face burn. "You have saved us in many ways young dragonborn. Do not fear, we will not hurt you here. Dimhollow Crypt is just East of Morthol, in the deepest of the crypt you will find out lady Serana.

"Serana." I say testing the name on my lips, "Serana."

Sure, no problem I'll be sure to edit those mistakes. As well as clear some confusion on the scouts. Thank you

Pretty good, however some grammar mistakes, and I'm slightly confused on the vampire at the end?
