HOW DO YOU GUYS HAVE SO MANY CHARACTERS!?

  •

I don't understand how many of you do small multiple play throughs with several role playing characters and here is why:

I play one play through.....with one character...(ARANÉTHON RÓGAN......A DUNMER.....OF THE DARK BROTHERHOOD.....SPECIALISES IN MAGIC ONE HANDED AND SNEAK. HANDY WITH A BOW TOO)

WITH ONE CHARACTER....it makes the game more.....unique and important. you become more attached to this one first character....because he/she has been through EVERYTHING you have experienced. This character becomes everything and more to your experience with skyrim ...thus making him/her incredibly important. Then with the DLC.....the character continues. I don't see the point in creating several role playing characters for each race? I feel it ruins the experience somewhat....or that you are not going to experience the game in a FULL and UNIQUE way.

One person will create a sneak character....by the time this character learns an invisibility spell, a nord will have been created...by the time he owns with two handed weapons a bosmer archer accompanied with a dark magician dunmer have began their journeys in your play throughs...........

through all this time....one has created his single character which he has put everything into.....has experienced sooooooo much more in the game and....

this character has become the very aspect of playing the game

But thats just me.....at present I can FINALLY put skyrim down.......sadly. i wish i still had the excitment for it..........NOW....IS THE RIGHT TIME TO MOVE ONTO ANOTHER CHARACTER. This is how i UNDERSTAND it to be done.

BUT I respect other peoples differences  ......tell me of your characters and why you decided to create so many....or not..........MAYBE YOU CAN PERSUADE ME TO THINK DIFFERENT AND CREATE MORE CHARACTERS.

But if you do...i will always return to my main and first one who i pput everything into, he will experience the dlcs first.

look Todd Howard said it himself the mantra of skyrim is "you are who you play" so there are no right or wrong answer's here, if ryan's dunmer is a mage, thief, companion, dovakhin then that's who he is.and if others feel a focused character on two or three ...  more

I don't roleplay as deep as some of the people here, but I do have an idea of what kind of archetype my characters will be, and I stick to combat styles and guilds that fit that archetype. Like Guy Corbett earlier, if I stray outside of that zone, the cha...  more

Ryan, I play somewhat the way you do.  I play with one character for a long time.  Only when that player seems done do I move on to another.  But on the other hand, I just can't see Lucy doing any of the daedric quests, for instance.  I'll need another ch...  more
