My character......NORD or DUNMER? and his name?

    im still stuck between which to choose.

    i wish my character to be a master in sword and bow, good stealth killing and can use a decent amount of magic where needed but not necessary. so which to choose...nord or dunmer.......i may end up deciding sheerly on looks when i create. hope to have the character around 6ft....fairly muscular and lightweight but not skinny......war paint over the eyes...(nords can have dark hair so this is possible) and long dark hair (adding to the mysterious side) I want to be quite a mysterious warrior that no one would mess with. i can be quite evil (hence dunmer) then finally i need a name.....was thinking of somehow blending my real surname into it which is Rogan. would give the character more meaning to me and would be quite cool.

    As much feedback as possible would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

    yes, anyway you play will level up those skills, and you can put perks into any category as long as you meet the requirements, Just play the way you want, and your character will emerge.

    thanks for feedback so far people...loads of good points but im still stuck, il decide when i create i think, just one last question.....nords are good fighters etc, hel become a good sneaker and stealth killer if u level him up that way yea?

    Dunmer is better for the skills you want to use, Nord is more suited for playing tank style with some low level healing spells.
    The name is harder, if you want a genuine Dunmer name I would go for Drarogan Nedralor. Or take you're pick from here htt...  more

    Dunmer I say. Good for the magic and sneak killing. Will also do good with the weapons you want to use.

    I don't agree with the other two people I say go dunmer much more of a deceptive intimidating race. I say they are more intimidating because they arent afraid of anything to me and a nord only fights if he or she must. Also a name hmmm Rogan the Vicious, ...  more

    Nord all the way, and name him Nogar, Gron (seems more like an orc name to me)  lol, or if feeling a bit humorous Groan, same letters as your surname, slightly different order.  Post here if you choose one of these, just curious if I was able to help.

    Actually I like your idea of 'go with the one that you like best on creation day'.  Although your name and build seems to fit with more of a nord to me.
