The city of thieves....

  "GRAGHH! Blasted thieves struck again!" shouted Madesi... I beckon him over, glad to see him. "Come sit my friend, tell me what happened." "The blasted thieves guild struck again! That's what happened!" he shouted "I am sorry I shouldn't take it out on you, it is not like you did it.". Already knowing how many times I struck his stand I calmly ask "Madesi this the third time this year, and the year is nearly over. Also think of it this way they don't take much right?". "Well I suppose your right..." he said. "Look if you think it is bad here let me tell you of the city of thieves..." I calmly spoke. ------- A few moons ago I was making my way to whiterun from Falkreath, as usual I stopped in Riverwood to catch up with my friend Fenreal. As I entered the town I noticed a dozen dark shapes bolting from house to house. As I neared I realised these were thieves! Not wanting to be charged with murder I left them alone, and not wanting to be murdered I skirted the town. I ran into Fenreal who told me the thieves have steadily moved in over the past few weeks, at first they scared them off but their numbers grew. He pleaded for me to go get the guards for help, knowing they would listen to me. I ran to Whiterun told them I saw a dragon near riverwood. The Jarl sent some guards to defend... But my plan backfired there was a dragon... You know that bit of the story. Fast forward to my return to Riverwood, once I arrived I found 3 guards chasing 2 thieves... I figured they are getting the job done. Then I entered the town proper.... I counted 15 dead thieves through the town. ------ "So Madesi be thankful for your one thief! It could be much worse..." ••••••••••••• This was my attempt of telling a poor story, it was based off my ingame experience. By the time guards were sent to Riverwood there were about 17 thieves. I got a laugh out of this slight mess up. Anyone else run into this problem? I have seen the random thief in Riften and Whiterun, but never more than one.
