The Havkin Blooded

  • The Havkin Blooded are beings created by Marbel, the Daedric Prince of War, Fury, Pain and Bardism. One can say they are like vampires, born from a Daedric Lord, but the Havkin Blooded are nothing like vampires, they are not undead, they are classified as half-daedra.

A Havkin Blooded cannot spread what he or she has onto another person on normal means, one can only be turned when coming into contact with the magic Marbel used to created the Havkins on a small amount or soul trapping a Havkin, both are very hard.

The Havkin Blooded are used to bolster the Havkin ranks, some used as fighters in the war in the Gurre Plains, some used as infiltrators in the mortal realm.

    Characteristics

The Havkin Blooded loos just like the race they were before, except that their eyes are pitch black orbs and their skin is red. However the changes vary according to race. The change of the eyes do not apply to the Betmer, or Beast. The Khajiit and Argonian will experience change in fur and scale but not eyes, instead their eyes would turn into a glowing yellow color. The Bosmer will grow slightly taller than before. The Dunmer will have grayish-red skin. The Altmer, Orcs and Man will not have significant change except for change of skin color and eye color. The Redguards however will not have a change in their skin color, because their skin is already tinted red with leads to the color change to be so insignificant that it doesn't look like their skin has changed at all.

Due the the red skin tone being a dead giveaway, Marbel has given the Havkin Blooded with the ability to cloak their skin color using a simple Illusion spell. Although this spell is easily see through by Illusionists, not many people practice that from of magic a lot.

    The First

The first ever known Havkin Blooded was actually a wolf who accidentally came into contact with a huge soul gem created by a careless Havkin mage. The wolf was later found and slain by your's truly (with some help) who ended up becoming the first ever sentient Havkin Blooded (followed by a Redguard female and an entire stronghold worth of Orcs). Later on, we were contacted by a group of Havkins, our first meeting was a bloody one, we were almost evenly matched but with our numbers we over powered the Havkins. That was then Marbel herself spoke to us, she claimed that she was impressed and surprised that it happened, the huge soul gem was taken away from the cave and used as an ornament in Marbel's throne room.

    The Increasing

Strangely there has been an increase in the numbers of the Havkin Blooded, it is unknown if mortals in the Gurre Plain has been affected by the soul gem's magic, or that Marbel duplicated what happened and turned the mortals into Havkin Blooded. Also more and more Havkin Blooded are being found in Tamriel, Marbel claims that this was unintentional and it was caused when she fell sick and unleashed her magic throughout the Gurre Plains and Tamriel.

The Rebellion, The Storm, The Pantsing

Some Havkin Blooded used to be mortals in the Gurre Plain, some pledged their allegiance to Marbel, but some chose to stay with their mortal comrades, using their new found strength to fight the Havkins, despite being significantly smaller than the Havkins, what they lack in size, they replace with speed. The Havkin Blooded have been known to tap their Daedric blood and receive a burst of strength, speed, and agility. The rebels tend to surround one Havkin warrior and beat it down with weapons simultaneously, this new uprising has caused Marbel problems indeed, but this was not what she did not expect, she had predicted a rebellion, as the Havkin Blooded were once mortals and a change of heart would be expected someday. She then asked for help from the other Princes, Malacath and Periyite immediately denied her, as she was the one who converted Peryite's infected into Havkin and Orcs were also affected by the Havkin Blood. The help came in the form of Sheogorath, the Mad God and Marbel's drinking partner, Sanguine.

It was in one battle where the sky crackled and rain cheese for the first time, pelting the mortal forces with pressed curds of milk, while they just bounced off the shields of the Havkin forces. One of the Havkin Blooded rebellion leaders was killed, along with several of his men. Despite the tactic being seen as outright ridiculous, the effect was rewarding. The mortals were driven back by the onslaught of the curds of milk and approaching Havkins and retreated to one of their hidden bases. The Havkin army did not give chase, as the mortals outnumbered them and they had no bard with them.

In another battle, both sides felt the power of Sanguine, they all heard the famous laugh of Sanguine, and with a pop, everyone lost their clothing. Due to mortals having the need to cover themselves the armor less Havkins crushed their enemies, literally.
