Fawn's Journal; Entry #7

  • The carriage ride was excellent! Not…

All I can say is that the town of Shor’s Stone is abandoned. I will leave it at that. I’m not even sure what happened. One moment the moon was shining the next moment I was dribbling blood from a freshly eaten Orc. I will leave it at that. I do not want to explain anymore.

I walked to the gates of Riften and got entry without having to pay this crappy visitors tax. Scared the bugger to shits.

I got some salt (for cooking and preserving meat) and refilled my water before heading out into the wilderness. About two hours walk from the city I found a nice clearing to camp and just could not set it up without disturbances!

First a bunch of bandits attacked me out of nowhere. Then some wolves thought I was good game! And then for fuck sake a werewolf attacked my while I was pitching my tent! Finally while I was cooking my evening meal because it had taken me all day to set up my damned camp a bunch of witches (again) were walking by and decided to attack me!

--Is it just me or is the whole world out to get me?—

Had my venison chop and waited for the moon to rise. It was short-lived, I think only a couple hours. I guess because my beast form could not feed enough. I had killed everything during the day. Which makes me think I will probably attract a lot of scavengers near my camp. That’s good, could use some wolf, bear or sabrecats pelts.

Next morning I felt sick. I hadn’t been sick in four years. But today… I was sick. So with a woozy head and aching stomach I staggered to the temple of Mara and prayed for mercy. Divines smiled on me… a wolf… and cured my diseases.

The priest (Maramal) advised me to rest for a couple days. It looked like I needed that. Like hell would I rest a few days! One day was enough! And here I am jotting down the past few events before going hunting. Life is back to normal!

I hope you enjoyed, comments would be appreciated.
