Reintroducing TheSkyrimBlog Supporters!

  As many of you may remember, last year we introduced TheSkyrimBlog Supporters: a paid feature of the Blog that gave members the added benefits of a custom-made group, a special badge, and access to a private group for Supporters only. The goal of this addition was to make the Blog self sufficient so that we had no need for an annual fundraiser. Unfortunately, that never happened. However over the course of the past few weeks we have been undergoing a large-scale revitalization of TheSkyrimBlog Supporters! I'm happy to reintroduce it to you all along with a new list of features that this membership will entail! 

  Supporters will receive:

  • Exclusive previews to new Blog features. As the Blog grows and evolves, we add new features for our members to use. Supporters will now be able to preview these prior to their release and help us come up with new ideas for future additions!
  • Theme Involvement. Every so often the Blog's theme needs to change. Now Supporters will be have a major say in deciding the theme that is created. Want to see a Daedra-inspired theme? You can help decide! 
  • Private Giveaways. Every now and then we have official SkyrimBlog Giveaways (one might be coming up soon, hint hint) in which we give away an Elder Scrolls or gaming-related prize. These are always free to enter, this will never change, but now there is a bonus for Supporters. Members of TheSkyrimBlog Supporters will be eligible for a private and slightly better giveaway (for example: we may have a giveaway for a Razer Kraken headset, while Supporters may be eligible for a better version of the same thing). We are also guaranteeing three giveaways per year for the Supporters. 
  • A say in your benefits. Do you have an idea for something that should be a Supporter benefit? As a Supporter you will have a say in what is added/removed as benefits to your membership. 
  • Access to a private group. This has been the same since the beginning, and won't change. We need a place to hear your input!
  • A custom "Supporter" badge. As a slightly smaller token of our appreciation, all Supporters are given a custom "Supporter" badge that will appear on their profile picture. 

  As it has always been, TheSkyrimBlog Supporters will have a monthly cost of $5 USD and can be purchased at a discounted $50 USD for a full year's worth of this membership (you can also "Gift" this membership to someone, if you're feeling generous!). All donations will be used to both keep TheSkyrimBlog up and running and better the Blog as we grow. If you'd like more information, leave us a comment!   To become a member of TheSkyrimBlog Supporters, you need only click the "Donate" button at the bottom of the right-hand sidebar (scroll to the bottom of the page and there you are!).  Be sure to send me a private message confirming your email if you choose to donate, otherwise we won't know who you are!
