Dragons, will they be everywhere, like flies?(or Oblivion gates)

    “You have to do a little bit of the main quest – just the initial stuff – for the Dragons to really start appearing, because it sits in with the story,” says Howard. “After that point, the more of the main quest you do, the more Dragons you’ll run into. But it’s hard to quantify it, they appear every once in a while. Not at a rate that is annoying… it still feels special.”

    This article talks about a pretty important issue with the Dragons. I think it has been covered somewhere on this site that dragons won't show up until you start the main quest and as you advance in it they will show up more and more. However, will they be showing up all over the place and getting in the way? Like those Oblivion gates and their god damned imps? Let's hope Todd is right.

    The amount of Dragons in the landscape increases the further along you get in the main quest. If you don't want more than a few seldom Dragons don't forge to far into the main quest. But it will be interesting to see at what point they become incredibly n...  more

    They said that they wont grow much stronger, even if you level up, but some dragons are stronger than others, but anyway, if they dont grow much stronger, then it would likely mean, that if you,re level one, you stand no chance, so i,m going to be atleast...  more

    For sure...I wouldnt hope I had to mod out the dragons like I had to with the oblivion gates. Im probably gonna steer away from the main quest for quite a while so I like what todd said here. Each encounter will be special/and or random. And Im sure the d...  more

    I know Todd Howard said that they wouldnt appear until the main quest was started, but as I have read in one of the previews someone ran into a dragon attacking a settlement without ever touching the main quest. I don't think they will be as bad as imps, ...  more
