Member Spotlight: Alice

Alice has been a member on the blog for nearly 2 years now, and in that time, she’s proven herself to be a talented, helpful and I quote: “Fabulous” member of the community. Many of us probably know her for her artwork and role as co-host of the Art Forums, but let’s take a look at some more information about her.

Outside of the Blog, Alice is really just a 17 year old from Ireland, and a dedicated gamer like the rest of us. A few of her interests are listening to music, sleeping (isn’t that something we all love doing?), “binge-watching American Horror Story”, and of course, drawing. Her music tastes include Cinematic, Game and Movie music, with the likes of Jeremy Soule, Jeremy Zuckerman and Austin Wintory being her favourites. As well as this, and as Alice will probably tell you herself, you can’t forget about her favourite band: Fleetwood Mac.

About her history with drawing, Alice had this to say:

“I've always had an interest in drawing, but it wasn't until last September/October that I started practicing properly. When I invested into my first drawing tablet it really started to kick off. Ever since then, I've developed a keen enthusiasm in all things digital and traditional art. It's because of this that I'm looking into a possible future career in Games Art & Games Design.”

As many of you will know, Alice has been the co-host of the Art group for a while now, having recently been joined in the role by GoldenFool. She’s shown off quite a bit of her great artwork on the Blog, all of which can be found in her “Drawing is Fun” discussion in the Art group. Other than this, she’s always in the art requests thread in the group, willing to lend a hand to any who need it. As well as the Art group, Alice has been an active member of the Live Roleplaying (her character page being “here”) and Photo groups, the discussion forums, and also has delved into character building with her build “The Messenger”.

When asked about her gaming interests, Alice replied: “I enjoy all varieties of games. One of my favourites would have to be RPG style games - though I admit I haven't gotten the chance to try my hand at many. The majority of my games consist of a random collection; Alice the Madness Returns (No Bias), the Bioshock series, Dishonoured, the Assassin's Creed Series and a few others. Currently, I'm playing through good ole' Skyrim again and trying my hand at modding. #PC Master Race” (The last part should be #PS4 Master Race, but oh well). In terms of upcoming games she’s excited for, Alice said that she was looking forward to the new Elder Scrolls game, whenever it comes out, and that she’s “mighty interested” in where it will be set this time.

Finally, by her own request, Alice has a single message to share with you all:

    “Conjuration No.1!  (o・_・)ノ”(x_ x。)”

Perfect choice. In the short time Alice has been around, she's become one of best content producers. I don't talk to her that much, but she's always seemed like one of the friendliest members in awhile.
