I would love to be an Imga.  A great ape that shaves his body and covers it in powder, and emulates elves.  They sound mental and comical.  Brilliant!

I know it isn't completely shut but the creatures made by Mehrunes Dagon aren't able to go to Nirn again and that includes the Dremora. The creatures in the books aren't dremora if you read how they look.

I kinda like the Sload too.

Oblivion was thought to be permanently shut but it isn't. Read the two elder scrolls books that just came out. They feel you in on events between Oblivion and Skyrim.

Dremora seems unlikely since the way between Nirn and Oblivion is permanently shut, but with a backstory I guess it's okay, but I don't think people are gonna leave you alone inside the city's.

But the race I would really like to see in TES is the Sload or Maomer, the Sload are slug-people necromancers and mages and the Maomer are the sea-elves, they are quite the mystery to me too.  

Not really a race unto themselves but werewolves, werebears and golden saints.

Dwemer?  I know it's a lost race, but a quest around that might be cool...

Maybe the Tsaesci could add a racial trait to allow them to climb or scale minor walls with a slight incline?  Or a slow down factor if they're running through the woods and run over a fallen log. I don't see to many problems with that race that can't be adjusted.
