HIDDEN GEM The Evoker

  • The Evoker seems to be one of Paul England's least appreciated builds. However this build represents the focus on a single skill that is only boosted by other skills. Welcome to the Evoker. A build based around the destructive power of, well Destruction magic.

    As always I like to take a little bit out of the build to help sell it a little. And with this one I think the opening does a better job then I do at explaining it.

    Destruction magic in Skyrim gets a bad rap. Unlike weapon damage, spell damage doesn't scale with your skill, and it can't be modified by multiple crafting skills. A fighter – one who doesn't mind getting his hands dirty crafting – can sharpen his sword at a grindstone, enchant it with frost magic, and gulp a potion to fortify his One Handed skill, but a Destruction mage doesn't have all those options.

    The Evoker is a mage that uses Alchemy, Restoration and Enchanting to boost the power and increase the effects of it's incredibly powerful Destruction Spells. And with just 4 skills it really does manage to shine among all of the Pure Mages we have on the blog. If you're looking for a quick and relatively easy Mage to set up then this is your build. So give this build a shot, or it's not your fancy then perhaps one of his other builds will catch your fancy. Remember to leave a like and a comment on the Evoker, let's see if we can push this to where it belongs...LEGENDARY

    We are talking 15% of 880 builds. I still think its a hell of an accomplishment. That and we've only has like 5 or so builds make it to legendary since 2015

    @Ben
    True, but please lets not start all this up again. This is just a one off post.
    I object far more when people wander around the CB group posting things like...
    "Hey guys check it out! Only 9 more likes to legendary! Let's get it the...  more

    dont forget Eso. A lot of lessons learned from skyrim cb are helping us tremendously with character building in Eso.

    No doubt it will. Fallout first, then new TES on the new consoles. If they are doing this amount of crafting in FO4, ES6 is going to be ridiculous!

    No worries man! Maybe in a year or two it can get back up there. Maybe it will have its own spotlight.

    Ok. I can see where you're coming from. And in light of the recent surge in popularity the cb group has been enjoying, I think we'll see more successes like this when we feature recognized build in the future.

    It would be equally worthy yes. Are all 342 of them gems, certainly not, I would be surprised if half of them were. Then you have to consider the fact that no doubt several of them have recieved HGS already.

    Every week doesn't have to be a bu...  more
