The Deathmatch

    Hey everyone, now that the purge in the Character Build group has just about been completed, we are back into our Weekly Deathmatches each Thursday.

    Ponty has picked six builds for this week:

    Take a look at the builds. Vote for your favourite in the poll over in the right sidebar. After 24 hours of voting, the winner and any build that hits 20 'likes' will survive, the rest will be sliced and diced by Ponty's Ebony sword. 

    And don't forget to tell us your vote and reasons below

    wow.. i nvr expect the chaos lich to survive 2 deathmatch :o

    The Deathmatch is now over for this week. The winner was the Druid. Additionally, the Chaos Lich and the Nord Warlord scored the requisite 20 'likes' and now move up the ranks.

    I did not really like any of them. The Chaos Liche was "OK", but it has already been in the deathmatch, so that is not the best sign. I went with "none of the them"

    Hard to pick between the 4 choices, the other 2 can definitely be deleted since their quality are pale in comparison to the other 4.
    I gotta re-read all of the 4 before I could decide.. decision.. decision.. hmmm..

    I think the Skald build deserves to live. The Druid is great, but the Skald presents some opportunities I had never considered before.

    It took me a while to decide but I finally voted for the druid.  These are good builds, they may all deserve to stay; I know I gave several 'likes' today.
    And I've noticed that Mason uses a hammer, Ben an axe, and Ponty, a sword.

    It seems a shame that some builds will be deleted due to lack of popularity. I would think that even an unpopular build could still offer inspiration or serve as an example about things to avoid when rolling a new character. Just seems a little harsh is all.

    Armathyx are you talking about when a new build gets placed into it's category? If you see a build that is not in the ranks use the build advancement thread to let a host know, you can find it on the CB homepage...

    Just had a quick look through. The Druid got my like and is now ready to be promoted. Son of the wolf hasn't been out for two weeks yet and I thought the requirements were at least one month in the bloodworks.

    Wow! Big increase in the quality of the DM builds, not sure any of them deserve to pay the price...
    I'll have a good look through each of them later...
