    I would like to nominate Ashi's video regarding Blocking and Shield Perks. It is a great way to show people exactly what they are missing when it comes to the Block tree. It goes through all of the perks and shows the benefits of each, and even tells you what's wrong with some of them. Definitely worth a watch!

    Well that's a relief, thanks Ashi. Sounded as though it was more serious.
    About the Deflect Arrows perk, how is it calculated where an arrow strikes and is the size of the shield factored in? I thought I could tell by line of sight but after a while...  more

    You can just exit the game and reload and it should work fine. It happened to Fienal (Alduin's Dovahkiin build) and i did that and I was able to do resume.

    Thanks Niko. I agree with Ben The Kind that you should add a stat and gameplay mechanics section to the Tips and Tricks Group. Nobody likes wasted perks, something that could happen espaecially with the Block skill and I'm sure the Character Builders woul...  more

    Correct Phil, I utilize that in my own build. Orcs berserker rage stacks on top of that for a possible 98.5% damage reduction.

    Happy to help. Most of my posts are actually of the matter about figuring out the game mechanics. I should really put up a post somewhere detailing what I've found.

    They are a little high, although not by as much as I originally thought. I added a number to the wrong number which gave a greater difference. 

    Iron shield at 0 block and 0/5 shield wall blocks for: 49%
    Daedric shield at 0 block and 0/5...  more

    the block cap is at 80%. That's really all you need to know between skill, perks, and enchants. And  I am a bit unclear when you say shield percentage is high. The armor cap is 567 (which allows for the hidden 100). Also all of his builds have alchemy, sm...  more
