The Character Build Showcase: The Whet Fang

  • Mason has chosen the Showcase for this week, and has gone with The Whet Fang, a specialist Argonian build from Emer Dareloth. First we have the video from the talented TZ, then Mason's blurb:

The Whet Fang is a rather nasty argonian battlemage with a penchant for the dark arts...

Emer has done a wonderful job creating a character that doesn't just kill opponents but performs every single violation in the book on their bodies before moving on.

The Whet Fang will drain an enemies blood during combat, then proceeds to eat a portion of the body (thanks to the Ring of Namira) before raising whatever pulp remains to serve as a temporary follower. If this process wasn't sadistic enough the Whet Fang also weilds the Mace of Molag Bal which snares the very souls of the fallen...

Blood, body and soul. Nothing gets left to waste while the Whet Fang is around...

One of the coolest features of the Whet Fang is the synergy created using the Mace of Molag Bal with vampiric drain, a feature that is easily overlooked but has been brought to life in the demonstration video provided by TZ.

    Check it out!

Really? I thought it was way more... I know the sword thane had at least 30 likes, I was the 32 vote for it, I remember that

The Revahkriid had, like, 18 likes when it was showcased.

Also Twisted, I believe you're thinking of the Blackguard, not the Necro-Knight.

Pretty sure it hadn't reached the old master requirement but I'm not sure.

Red mage, treasure hunter, marauder, heart of pelletine, revakriid, sword thane, necro knight, the agent. I believe all of those went up in likes because of the showcase and that all of them started under 30 likes.

Where did the idea come from that a build had to have less than a certain number of likes to be in the Showcase?
