An Assassin name Zeref

  • So I thought to introduce myself more by sharing my character from Skyrim. He's a Khajiit named Zeref. I've decided that if there were "classes" in this game I would be an assassin, do to the Dark Brotherhood quest line. That quest line appeals to me the most(well that and the thieves guild, but I decided i like killing people for one thousand gold than sneaking around for 500). I love to test out new ways getting away with killing people and since my main weapon is the bow I love to push my limits to find the best resting place depending on each contract and each situation. Yes I know you can senselessly go in and just kill them as Festus(did I spell it right) say, but that seems pretty boring to me. I always tend to find the most difficult way to do things to make it more fun. I dont really use anything else, but the bow. I will occasionally use a dagger or axe if im in a sticky situation i.e. backed up against the wall, but other than that bows will pretty much do it. There is one problem that I do have that i would hope to get help with. My archery is on level 60, and my smithing is level 73 so I pretty much maxed out my bows. Im only on level 33, and i want to level up. I read somewhere that you gain experience with every hit you give someone. I wanted to know if this was true since i pretty much one shot almost everyone with my arrows :/. If this is true than that would suck and is there any suggestions i can get that will help me level faster without killing people on contact. If so please say. Thanks for taking your time out to read this

What you have read is true, you level weapon skills on strike so the more attacks it takes to kill the faster you level. Perhaps get an unmodified bow and use it to increase levels, then pull out your stronger smithed bow for the tougher opponents. I thin...  more

My only advice would be to maybe introduce another skill, one handed or a magic skill. You dont have to put perks into it but could use it to speed the leveling process.
